Islamists (not to be confused with Islamics) are strangers too. Do you think we should welcome them as well? And you do realize that if we welcomed everyone who wants to come here we'd have the population of India within a generation (or less)?

But let's just hope that Clinton AWB never sees the top of GWB's desk. ...Because if it does, he'll sign it. And if he signs it, there'll be a whole lotta ticked off conservatives.

Including this one.

I welcome legal immigrants with open arms. I have no use for illegal immigrants who cheat the righteous ones out of their ticket to America.

Twisting the words of Jesus now are we, CJ? Are you a self-proclaimed Bible scholar now, CJ? I eagerly await your one-liner of misguidance and Marxist compassionate conservatism.

Exactly, and once their status changes to legal, then they are not illegal immigrants anymore.

Tomorrow is the CCW Bill in the Wisconsin Assembly. I think that will tell us if the change is coming and some dems are abandoning gun control.

John Kerry is telling all who will listen that he is a hunter but that he doesn't need an AK to hunt.

What that says about the constitution is anybodys guess but it does give you some idea on where the dims are coming down on gun control this cycle.

About a ten foot pole away.

I post a line from Scripture, and you claim that accounts for twisting the words of Jesus? Interesting, in a deceitful, non-guileless sort of way.

Dictator Bush

Pathetic and silly.

Tell me Mr. "God is good"... or is that Ms.? Wouldn't want to offend you in case you were a feminist. In your opinion who would God rather see in the White House, Bush or Kerry?

He obviously has more character than you do, but then he takes the advice of Scripture and is in no way envious of you.

Don't kid yourself, jwalsh07. I don't dislike you. And I'll never vote for a Democrat. I'm voting Constitution. I'm not even trying to argue that Kerry is exactly the same as Bush. I thank God for Bush's stance on the War on Terrorism. The left will never be able to touch Bush on this, and hence Bush will win.

I only want America to separate Bush's good from Bush's bad. I want Bush to reverse the bad and keep the good, so I can support Bush. I don't have to agree with everything the man does to support him, but he has crossed the line on too many issues. He is like many others who dilute the Republican platform with compromise. I would rather lose the Presidency than lose the Republican party and the future of America. If we vote this man down, we will send a signal to the Republicans that Republican Americans want to be represented, not lied to and not ignored.

Ok, so I should accept illegals based on the scripture. Is that your argument, CJ?

John Kerry is telling all who will listen that he is a hunter but that he doesn't need an AK to hunt.

Kerry is deliberately misleading people. As I'm sure you know, the AWB has absolutely nothing to do with banning or regulating full-auto AK-type weapons, which are already regulated by the National Firearms Act of 1934. The news media have consistently confused semiautos with full-autos. ....sometimes deliberately, but usually out of ignorance. Even Bill O'Reilly is ignorant of this, and he choses to remain so. (A couple weeks ago he interviewed GOA President Larry Pratt, and the latter made the exact point I made above. O'Reilly replied ...."yeah, yeah, I've heard all that before." ....as it he didn't believe it to be true, which a tiny bit of research could've substantiated).
