Started scrolling down but had to stop at the top row of the abortion issue.

I don't think President Bush ever said he strongly favors appointing judges who will "outlaw abortions".

If anyone can prove me wrong by posting an exact quote of him saying that I'd appreciate it.

You win a beer if I ever meet you.

We'll celebrate another WS title for the Pinstripes in late Oct., and a Reaganesque electoral victory a week later.

And then we'll make a toast to the CIC taking another page out of the Gipper's playbook for his 2nd term -- exercising fiscal discipline.

Uh, if you are talking about thr Campaign Finance Law, President Bush did not pass it. It was passed by a Republican controlled Congress.

In fact, President Bush did not want them to pass it. He warned them if they passed it, he would sign it.

In fear of being accused by the main stream media of being "mean spirited" the Republicans passed it and President Bush called their bluff by signing it.

check this.

I meant to respond to your statement "that choosing the lesser of two evils was still choosing evil" in the thread that got pulled.

Bush may be wrong about a few things (or I may be) but I don't believe he is evil. I do think the Democratic Party is evil.

The choice is between someone flawed and something evil.

Right on, Shooter.

But let's just hope that Clinton AWB never sees the top of GWB's desk. ...Because if it does, he'll sign it. And if he signs it, there'll be a whole lotta ticked off conservatives.

He didn't and shouldn't. He did say he will appoint judges who respect the Constitution. Kerrey says basically, that he won't. It's even more damning for Kerrey.

What a very silly argument. Let me refer you to your mother when she told you that actions speak louder than words. Bush opposes the 1st Amendment.

Bush also says he is for fiscal responsibility. Has he been?

We worked very hard to make sure it doesn't reach his desk. I know we have the votes in Congress now, but November is a long way away. I wish we had a better chance in the Senate.

Tomorrow is the CCW Bill in the Wisconsin Assembly. I think that will tell us if the change is coming and some dems are abandoning gun control.

I'm curious to now how they got this information.

They categories and how they word them are little deceptive also.

Yes, he voted for it, and has talked against it non-stop ever since.

This was in NR:

"What's up with this fellow from Mass. who voted for the war and speaks against it? It's sometimes good to be sneaky in politics, it's never good to LOOK sneaky. Big chin or no big chin, he looks sneaky to me."

He's extremely conservative with how much of your money he should give back to you, this is true.

Beyond that, saying he is conservative with your dollar is the stupidest thing I've ever heard in the history of Free Republic.
