Survey USA Polls: Edwards Pulls away in SC, Train Wreck in OK
Survey USA ^

I think we in for a couple of surprise Tuesday night. Kerry can come in Third in OK will be big news. Clark is strong there and Edwards has ground troops with the State AFL-CIO and Barry Switzer making robo-calls on his behalf in Nothern OK where he is still called "The King".

It would be very amusing to watch the RATS tie themselves into knots. The media has all but crowned Kerry; they won't know what to do with themselves.

Also Edwards is at 20% and Dean at 15% which mean Delagates. Also Clark is only 8% behide Kerry in the poll. Remember they do centain voters and are very good. They had Edwards and Kerry running better than the other polls three weeks out Iowa.

The Clintons can abide Kerry, but not Dean or Edwards. They can't control Dean or Edwards. Edwards, young and fresh faced, especially would put the hurt on Hillary if they both decided to run in '08.

Clark is the Clintons puppet, put in the race to siphon votes of moderates away from Edwards who would otherwise get most all of them. Without Clark in the race, Edwards would be poised to rival Kerry tomorrow.

If Edwards has a unexpectedly strong showing Sunday, watch for the articles on Wed. chronicling Edwards checkered past (whether he has had one or not). The power play continues. Dean or Edwards cannot win--the Clintons won't let them.

Somehow I think Kerry will eke it out. He may have to pick one of these goobers as his running mate to clinch the deal, i.e. Edwards.

O'Reilly thinks Lieberman is gone, Dean is toast, and Edwards is hanging on, hoping for the vp slot. Did you catch Barney Frank's sister on O'Reilly a few minutes ago? Hammering away that Bush was awol from national guard duty. (God forbid Rove should use those carrier shots.)O'Reilly basically called her a liar and asked how she could have double standards, since Clinton(whom she supported with gusto), was noticably absent during the Vietnam war, and probably ended up in Moscow. She had the gall to say there was only one president, one standard, and she had witnesses who'd swear he wasn't there. On and on, despite NYTimes apologies, etc.. They don't care if they're caught in bare-faced lies. They learned that tactic at the master's knee...Clinton.

Couldn't Clark surge in S Carolina as well? There has to be some resentment there over N. England's Super Bowl win.

Who knows which of these goobers will eventually end up on top?

I think we can rule out Kucinich and Sharpton, but nobody else seems particularly serious, either.

Edwards may win SC, but Sharpton will make news because he will get the black vote and pesky Reps voting for him. I know alot of Reps voting tomorrow and they are voting for Dean or Sharpton.

Barry Switzer is making calls on behalf of Edwards?

That pretty much finishes his reputation with Dallas Cowboy fans, if he even had one.

Hm, I don't like this. According to SurveyUSA, Edwards has a chance to win Oklahoma. Add that to South Carolina and he's still in good shape to win the nomination. That's not good.

SurveyUSA
Clark 29
Kerry 26
Edwards 27

Zogby
Clark 28
Kerry 27
Edwards 19

ARG
Clark 28
Kerry 25
Edwards 21

I'm rooting against SurveyUSA on this one.

Oklahoma isn't that big a deal - Missouri is the big prize.

Edwards won't be able to stop the Kerry steamroller.

It is amusing. First they crowned Dean and he fell apart. Now if Kerry starts to flouder, they'll probably jump jump on the Edwards bandwagon. Let them fragment the party as much as they please. Fun to watch!!!

Where did Ketchup Boy get all this new-found cash from?

Last I had heard, he had put up his house and was selling off his paintings to make ends meet.

Did the Ketchup Queen step in and save the day?

Oklahoma isn't that big a deal - Missouri is the big prize.

Where Edwards is in 2nd place. We could see something like:

Missouri: Kerry 50 - Edwards 18
Arizona: Kerry 35 - Clark 25 - Dean 15
South Carolina: Edwards 33 - Kerry 25 - Sharpton 15
Oklahoma: Edwards 29 - Clark 27 - Kerry 25
New Mexico: Kerry 35 - Clark 20 - Dean 15
Delaware: Kerry 35 - Lieberman 15
NoDak: Kerry 40 - Clark 30 - Dean 15

If Kerry and Edwards are the only winners, the media will try to turn it into a two-man race, with Kerry having only a modest lead in delegates. Then Edwards beats him in Tennessee & Virginia and the country goes to hell.

Unlikely, but far too realistic a scenario for my taste.

"Unlikely, but far too realistic a scenario for my taste."

Mmmmmm... I'd say it's very unlikely.

I suppose it's remotely possible, but only slightly.

Switzer is a diehard Democrat. Around these parts he is not known for his performance as a Dallas Cowboy coach. It was for another unknown college team....
