SEATTLE -- Gov. Gary Locke announced Sunday his endorsement of Sen. John Kerry, the Democrats' national front-runner for the presidential nomination. "John Kerry has the right priorities for Washington state," Locke said in a news release. "He understands that the people of Washington want good jobs, affordable health care, public schools and universities that are second to none. His experience and leadership skills will get our state and our country back on track."

Gov Locke is not running for re-election. He wants to be VP in my opinion.

As a taxpayer from Washington state, I am not surprised. Locke is a nothing governor, and in my estimation, a nothing person because he doesn't understand anything about America or We the People who love the liberty our country affords. The Constitution is defended daily with the youth of our country. They understand what they are fighting for.It is tragic we put people in office who understand nothing but their own reelection efforts, and even though Locke isn't up next time, he still supports the political hacks who are. Sickening!!

Yup, or he has an absolute lock (ha!) on a hypothetical cabinet post 'cause he's Asian.

lurch gets endorsed by a guy with less than 35% approval in a liberal state, yeah that'll help.
