Thanks for the flames everyone..........

However, my daughter is grown and she LOVED it.

As I remember, half time was at 9.30. What "little kid" was up at that time anyway.

Oh well, to each their own!

SheLion, I'm not flaming you, but please tell me you're kidding. You have GOT to be kidding.

That depends on the time zone. It wasn't 9:30 here. I think that adults already have access to about all the porn and tasteless shows they could possibly want with cable --- family acceptable entertainment from 6am to 10pm on 3 or 4 channels isn't expecting too much. I intentionally don't bring cable shows into my home, I don't want my kids growing up with MTV --- and I don't need MTV shoved in their faces when I thought I was allowing them to watch a football game. It's one thing to say "then change the channel" if warnings about content are given first --- in this case it was all about deception. Luckily for my kids, they thought the half time show was pretty boring and walked away until the game came back on.

My children are now grown, however when they were school age, their bedtime was between 9-10. Since they had to get up at 7am, that gave them between 9-10 hours sleep.

Exceptions were made, and being a very sports orientented family, they were allowed to stay up later to watch for the Super Bowl each year.

That said, bedtimes are not really the point here. What is the point that the entainment industry is trying to make complete fools out of mainstream American, and think they can get away with it. Hopefully, this time they don't.
