Washington Post ^

JERUSALEM, Feb. 1 The camera jostled past the crush of rescue workers, entered the bombed bus and paused on bloody pieces of flesh hanging from a twisted window frame. It moved to a severed right foot flung against a curb, then halted on an arm in the middle of the street.....

I don't look,I've seen survivors pictures, that's enough for me to hate these bombers, suicide, homicide, car, truck and roadside.
I hate them in any place they do their dirty work. They don't care who they kill while they're killing and maiming, the more the better for their twisted minds.
God be with our military in harms way and all the civilians caught in the fury of the psychopaths.

I think its good they showed the video. Let people see what monsters the Palestinians are. Remember, 75 percent of Palestinians support terrorism against Israeli civilians. I say the same thing with the World Trade Center. The media should show the pics of the people jumping. People where dealing with Evil!
Only massive force will defeat these Islamo Nazis.

In the dark corners of Cairo, Jeddah, London, Paris, and Patterson NJ, this tape is probably used as some kind of celebratory Jihad-porn.

they took all the footage off our tv
and said it's too disturbing for you and me
it'll just breed anger, that's what the experts say
but if it was up to me, i'd show it every day -- Darryl Worley

Forget the dark corners. They'll probably show his video in one of their "museums" ......like the replica of the pizza parlor that was blown to smithereens.

Democratic Underground and MoveOn.org will both (doubtless) be offering the gorier more heart- and stomach-wrenching images as DVD "freebies," for the repeated viewing enjoyment of regulars of both sites.

They have a mock up of a terrible bombing in Israel on display in a Palestinian school,"museum" or some such ,fake blood and all, a purely civilian target.
It isn't a place to mourn, that's for sure.

The still photos are bad enough:

group to claim responsibility for the suicide bus bombing that
killed 10 people as well as the attacker.

It is time to send them from the museum to the mausoleum.

In Israel, do camera crews or EMTs show up first to a bombing?
Sorry, but the deaths of 3,000 people on 9/11 seemed sanitized.
To: My Dog Likes Me
The Israelis have crews,I think they may be volunteers ,that can clean up the carnage very quickly. They have practice.
The media sanitized 911 so as not to traumatize us further, they say .How long did it take to show the stills of people jumping?A long time.

For such a newbie you have interesting posts...
First your odd one here, would you mind clarifying whatever point you have about camera crews showing at homicide bombings and 9/11 deaths seeming "sanitized"?
You also seem to have a history of defending Kerry's history of bravery with the "3 purple hearts"...
And you dislike Rush and are irritated when people defend him...
None of those by themselves are room for question, really, but taken together it makes me wonder how you found Free Republic?

"Showing bodies or body parts . . . lying on the ground and using it for political ends is disgusting," said Jeff Halper, who heads the Israeli Committee Against House Demolition, an organization that monitors Israeli military actions against Palestinians. For these types though, it's okay to paint a grossly distorted image of supposed Israeli "atrocities" for political purposes. He doesn't want this stuff out there, because he fears people might make a righteous moral distinction between a "house demolition" (destruction of a terror nest) and Jew demolition (blatant horrifying genocide).

When the remains of the Pentagon victims from 9/11 were brought to the mortuary at Dover Air Force Base, a big effort was made to keep the media away. I'm sure it was out of respect for the dead and their relatives, but on the whole I suspect it would have been better if the public could have seen the carnage. You can't gloss over or deny reality like that. Eisenhower was wise enough to have the carnage at the Nazi death camps carefully documented on film, and it ought to be the same in these instances.
To: Agnes Heep
It may be,but fire is a terrible thing. The carnage from 911 was hidden under thick dust for awhile at the WTC.collapsed buildings, and then there was fire there, too.I don't believe we should forget how difficult some of the pictures would be for the loved ones.
