Janet is about par with the farting horse.

Do you expect anything less from Viacom and MTV. Just another shot fired in the culture war. The bar has been lowered again.

Janet Jackson. What a skank. I'm glad we didn't watch the halftime show.

Hordes of churchladies marching on CBS with pitchforks and torches. A bad night for See BS.

Disgraceful, but where are the photos?

Is there truly much further that MTV can sink, these days?

(3 out of 4 people ... think Janet Jackson went too far.)

It's about time that MTV be brought to the FCC woodshed. They really are the purveyors of some vile, devolving programming.

I may be wrong, but it looked like it was choreographed and executed just as they intended it ... since I'm no fan of Justin Timberlake I wasn't paying close attention (at a friend's house) but it looked like no accident ...

Having carefully inspected the photos, I can report that it is not a tassel, it is a silver sun-shaped piercing- a tassel covers up, er, critical anatomical details, for counties that do not allow "nude dancing".
The silver piercing does not cover much of anything.
Unplanned? Hogwash. This is not appropriate material for the Superbowl, but the perpetrators and the "high level officials" who thought this was a good idea will go unpunished.
And who thought the song itself was appropriate? This is indeed another assault in the culture wars.

Just imagine what our service men and women who are putting their lives on the line every day around the world and were watching the Super Bowl must think of what they are fighting for. A secular society run by Democrat low life, with not a moral or concern for families who might have been watching. That's right folks, pull the lever or mark your ballot for any Democrat and see what you get! I don't think you will like it!

"The dancing is great. She's more stylized, she's more feminine, she's more a woman as she dances this time around. There are some shocking moments in there too."Actually, I thought she looked like a Michael Jackson-impersonator, though I suppose that doesn't necessarily contradict the above quote. (I was going to say that the one difference is that Janet's breasts are larger than Michael's, but then I remembered that her natural breast size isn't necessarily any larger than his.)

"I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."
Ha, I'm sure a lot of guys would have liked to use that excuse at one time or another.

Does anyone have an address so that I can complain to the FCC?

It occurs to me that perhaps this was MTV's way of counter-programming the highly-advertised PPV "Lingerie Bowl?" Who knew that the free broadcast show would show more than the PPV?

By the way, if it was unexpected, why was she wearing a pasty & a tassle?

Without a doubt; the worst half/time show I have ever seen for Super Bowl. Totally depressing and disgusting.
Not insulting enough; the American flag was dragged in and sullied as well.
Someone's head should 'roll' over this one.

I must have missed it while I was grabbing some chips. One of the guys I was watching it with kept going on about how Justin Timberlake had ripped her top off, I didn't pay much attention to him and figured he'd just taken off part of her suit exposing a lower layer.
Having seen the pictures on Drudge I doubt it was accidental. Women don't usually wear pasties just in case just in case somebody yanks their top off.
