Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show:

"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

Well half time used to be fun and good for the whole family. they should have known something like this crap would happen. We didn't watch. We knew it would be trashed for attention. You'd think Janet Jackson would try to be a little low key since her brother is in so much trouble. She really uplifted the Jacson name didn't she? My sister wrote and said how terrible it was. Well, I would venture to say that no one should be surprised. It's just a bunch of incompetents out there trying to shock everyone. No shock here...figured they would pull something like that. However, it is a disgrace and was shameful but...they'll never feel that way or they wouldn't have done it in the first place. Who the h___ are these people anyway? Good Lord. No REAL TALENT around anywhere for CBS to offer the public or did CBS just want the bucks. They can't tell me they didn't know something was up. CBS deserves the anger of the public. They have gone too far. Aplogies won't help.
