Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show:
"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

That was exactly my opinion, MTV intended to upstage the game. I think it's time to go back to marching bands, football doesn't need fans that want/need alternative entertainment.

What's the outrage here? I don't know what sh!tty country you live in, but men ripping a woman's clothes off is not considered family entertainment here.

YES....I did enjoy the National Anthem sung by Beyonce...it WAS great. She could have done an entire UPLIFTING halftime show and we would have watched. As it was, luckily, my 10 year old grandson said, when halftime hit....Bampa...let's go tie some flys....and thankfully they did!

Do you think you're up to the task? Somehow, I think your attention span would cower at the task.
Ah, you're another "I'm the smartest poster on FR." If you can't sum up something you probably either don't fully understand it or you don't fully believe it yourself.

They also should make sure it doesn't fall into the hands of the CBS again. It rotated between networks under the billion dollar agreement with the NFL. I imagine there will be some changes to the agreement now.

Again, I encourage you to read Augustine's, 'The City of God'. If you do, your time will not have been wasted.

Thanks for the report. Europe is once again setting the pace for the rest of us. We're all circling the drain together, but Europe is in the lead.

The Europeans preaching morals is like Ted Kennedy teaching a lifeguarding class. I have little use for the Europeans either, but we're all in a heap o' trouble. The drums keep getting closer everyday.

The NFL obviously doesn't follow the advice of Roanld Reagan, TRUST, BUT VERIFY!
The NFL and its commissioner should be penalized for indecent exposure - NO BROADCASTS FOR ONE YEAR!

"Yeah, I'm just trolling buddy. None of these are my views at all. Janet didn't expose nearly as much as I see any time I go to the beach. What's the outrage here?" I think that my IQ is lowered each time I read one of your posts on this thread.

Speaking of Drudge, I see most of a day later "the photo" is still displayed on his front page.
Seems he's milking it for all it's worth.

Janette....neither do I.

Seems he's milking it for all it's worth. Is that a Freudian slip? He's milking a breast for all its worth. Caught me as funny.

If anyone thinks Justin Timberlake is great , they also must be a fan of Castor Oil! YUK!I know --- something about the former Disney Mickey Mouse club stars trying to be baaad is especially obnoxious. They're aren't celebrities because any are talented, they are being studio-produced, they were made for the teeny-boppers and are desperately trying to be taken seriously now.

Bump to that. If we said Europe should be more like the U.S., then they would be livid.
