Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show:
"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

Do you do this action in front of your son? If many men view a woman's lips as a sexual object does this mean we need to throw a burkha over the head of every woman?
I'm not aware that a sexual act was performed at halftime- your comparison is a bit off kilter.
Amuse me for the moment and act like your wife has some sort of sex appeal, K?
Ummm. That's enough thank you. You have a nice day. Please don't reply to me- ever again.

Ummm. What's your point? I'm not like you so you want to insinuate things about me? Why? So you and your wife dont walk around naked from time to time in front of you son (is your son older than 4?) ? Im getting conflicting vibes from you.

You can find your way out.

Any parent who hasn't taught their kid that television isn't their model for behavior has already failed that kid, IMO. Its football... Kids should be able to freely be able to sit down and catcha game without being exposed to Clinton's America. Its friggin FOOTBALL!! How else would my kids see the super bowl...God knows I couldnt afford flying to Houston.

Here's a good pick. Diversify your portfolio and buy stocks in coffin manufacturers while your at it.

"Offensive isn't the word here. Classless fits better. The audience really deserves better."
Dear FCC,
As a taxpayer and loyal citizen, I am writing to express my outrage over the halftime show. If I am not mistaken, CBS is classified as a broadcast channel and needs to be severly fined and reprimanded for the indecency of having Janet Jackson breast exposed during the halftime show.
If you decide not to fulfill your regulatory powers and responsibilities granted by congress, then I shall start a petition drive to see that the FCC be disbanded. I am also writing to the White House to ask that the FCC start enforcing rules and regulations so broadcast Television is viewable for families.
I hope you address this issue in a responsible manner.

Oh yeah? Football? Is that what you call 60 minutes of play in 7 second increments plus 3 1/2 hours of idiocy? Four hours. But that doesn't count any idiocy before the opening kickoff.

Trashy MTV with there no talent so called singers don't belong in Pro Football or any Sporting event, is there any place we can watch a good ol' american sport without the Smut of MTV?

If they had run MoveOn's ad during the halftime show, most conservatives would have probably breathed a sigh of relief!
That is, if they hadn't already turned off the set.
