Oh yeah, with respect to the "giving your vote to Democrats" comments - the lesser of two evils is still evil Do me a favor when you reach your destination called "the perfect world" how about sending me a post card. I believe that I will be waiting for a long time by the mailbox.
BTW, not a peep from this editorial about the demos plan which would have been $800 billion.
Oh that's correct, you are trying to help the demos, nevermind.

BTW, not a peep from this editorial about the demos plan which would have been $800 billion. The editorial is about the fact that the cost of this plan was likely purposefully underestimated - not the Democrats' proposed plan.
Surely you think fiscal irresponsibility of this sort is a legitimate topic of discussion, right?

If the Republican electorate is too afraid of short term consequences (some Dems getting elected) to work for long-term goals (a Republican Party that is actually conservative), then the Republican Party is doomed to drift ever-leftward

"BTW, not a peep from this editorial about the demos plan which would have been $800 billion." And the difference between that figure and the up to $1 Trillion the editorial did say is exactly what Dane?

If a Democratic President had proposed this plan to a Republican Congress, the total cost would have been $0. This Medicare expansion would have been DOA in that scenerio.

Always the Bushbot hey Dane? Doesn't matter what this administration does, they are always right. Socialism and big government are OK as long as Bush administration is proposing it. You, Dane are the standard by which party hacks are measured, you and Baghdad Bob.
