Chief Justice Rehnquist will be 80 years old this year.
If a Democrat wins the presidency, and Rehnquist retires or dies, the leading candidate to replace him will be Hillary Clinton.

That's chilling.

Nah!! She wants to be President, not a Chief Justice. A Chief Justice cannot write executive orders.

The Clintoon's actions have been confusing to me. I was assuming that they wanted Hill as Pres.
But maybe they realize that won't happen, she cannot be elected.
But she sure can be appointed as Chief Justice.
An interesting, albeit terrifying, idea.
Thanks for the post.

If for no other reason GW must be relected. We can cope with some big spending, the illegals, but we will not be able cope with what a FAR LEFT turn of the SCOTUS will do to America. Can you imagine 3 more such as shillary on the SCOTUS and hundreds more on the federal bench! All we have gained in the past decade, especially all we have gained in the last 3 years will be gone, dumped down the toilet out of pique with W, simply because we are not told the whole truth by the media of his reasons behind the things and spending he purposes.

I doubt it. She may have been an officer of the court, as such, but has had ZERO experience as a judge, even on a local level...let alone Federal or Appelate courts.
