For what it's worth, I agree with you completely. I've had enough of this crap.

It's kinda like rape victims being told in the old days that they'd be better off if next time they should "lay back and try to enjoy it!"
Dad gummit Dubya, you'd better dance with the ones that brung ya, or we ain'ta gonna dance to your tune! It's our tune, not yours that's important! You swore an oath on the Bible to protect the constitution and this SOVEREIGN NATION from all enemies, foreign and domestic!!!
Now straighten up and fly right and do your sworn duty or you'll get fired and I ain'ta gonna take no blame for your bad behavior!!! Who am I gonna vote for? It ain't nobody's business but my own, since it's a SECRET BALLOT anyways!!!

Would you stay married if your partner was cheating on you?
NO!
Not being married, If I was in a relationship with someone and the same question were asked, the answer would again be no!
Trust is trust, if you betray my trust, be it in relationships or friendships, you are history! There is no forgiveness on my part........

Your " partner " ( President Bush ), isn't " married" to YOU only. This analolgy doesn't work at all. b

Celibacy is the only answer if you plan on never voting again...or stay with the GOP and try to energize its base.
The Prez cannot do it all.

No one's cheating on you. Your problem is that you're paranoid.

I find myself in a similar situation. I've never voted for a Democrat in my entire life, and have always supported the Republican candidates for President and Congress.
I voted that way because I believed what they said about wanting less government and more Freedom.
Now the Republicans control everything in Washington. The federal budget has grown at a rate not seen since LBJ. The federal government is continuting to consolidate power, and even implement programs which are simply un-American such as TIPS.
They have done nothing to restore our Freedoms. Quite the contrary, they are infringing upon them at an alarming rate. I can't remember an adminstration that launched such an assault on the Bill of Rights as this one has. And I expect things to get only worse.
At this point, I'm planning to write in Ron Paul for President during the primary down here in Florida.
But it looks like either way, we're screwed this year. It's either going to be the statist Bush or the statist Kerry, or perhaps even Klinton.

- Should I run to the nearest divorce attorney and demand satisfaction?
- Or is my partner so important in my life that I should allow this to continue without saying a word?"
- Should I continue to pay all the bills and keep giving out lots of my hard earned money when it goes to further something I hate?
- What did I do that was wrong? I've said out loud to everyone willing to listen that I'm in love, yet my partner bows to the wishes of another man after all?
Not only is my "partner" cheating on me, but I found out the whore he is running around with has at least ten million illegitimate babies. On top of that, this dud is wanting to bring every one of them into my house!
It's gonna take all I have to stay with a man like this . . .
