Greta had Monsoor Ijaz on and he told her something may be up with deplomacy in Iran and some alqueda that they may have and we want. He said in exchange for the Mullars to stay in power, they would push the alqueda opporitives into Pakistan where our ops can wait for them at the border. That may be why some congressmen are going to Iran shortly. Something may be up with that and that may be why Mushariff may be giving a wink and not for our ops to go into Pakistan. I just found that interesting. Comments anyone?

I didn't see the show, but it certainly was interesting to hear what Ijaz had to say. Thank you for posting it.
By the way, is anyone around here keeping track of all of Mansour's claims? Obviously Fox News trusts him, but he's been saying some pretty eye-opening things for quite some time now. Is he for real, or some kind of Debka clone?

Well, we should all be very careful. If the White House has done anything to defang the Mullahs in Iran, you want to stay away from tall buildings so as to avoid the falling democrats.

I thought he had some credibility during the war, but he's lost that now. I don't think he knows very much at all

I tuned out before it was over. Either Ijaz has lost his mojo or I'm in the weeds.

Is he for real, or some kind of Debka clone? It's my theory that his purpose is to put out disinformation half the time. With what's being called a leak out of the Pentagon regarding action in Pakistan and this information tonight, you have to wonder.

I thought he had some credibility during the war, but he's lost that now He hasn't had many hits lately but he could turn into a prophet at any moment. Did he mention his "unimpeachable" sources tonight?

If what Monsoor says is true, the Bush administration must be counting on the Iranians to stand up themselves and overthrow the mullahs. That would be a coup, get bin Laden in return for not going after the mullahs, while the mullahs are overthrown immediately by the people.

correct.

Ditto--he loses credibility with me every day. Indeed, I wrote to Fox and told them that.

I remember Ijaz saying that they had a family sick with radiation poisoning from smuggling uranium out of Iraq. He also claimed the source would come clean after he knew Saddam was captured?
I believe he mentioned his sources were "unimpeachable".

Doesn't it bother anyone that we might be making deals with Iran's oppressors?

The idea is certainly entertaining, but I really doubt the Iranian Mullahs would be willing to make such a deal with the "Great Satan" as they call us. First, they must know their biggest problem is internal, not external. We are not the ones who told them to try and run a 20th century economy with 7th century knowledge. Their economic difficulties and dissatisfied population are a problem of their making, not ours. We could (and should) encourage the Iranian people to seek democracy but we cannot impose it on them. Second, even if they thought al qaida would be a good bargaining chip to expend, why do it now? And remember, they would be trading a tangible object for an intangible promise. They know from their own experiences how that can turn out (remember "arms for hostages?")
I can only see this happening if they thought we were about to invade or cripple their oil production.

Ijaz was on Fox about 6 weeks ago "breaking" the story that WMD were very soon to be undercovered by Kay, with large stores of WMD being located in Syria ! So far, no glory there - so back to the drawing board with another far fetched prediction....I suggest he goes looking for Amelia Erheart - or an honest Democrat - or some equally hopeless chore, as his credibility is NIL !

It is amazing that everyone has bought Kay's report on WMD's and ignored Iraqies claims thaey are there! What a bunch of sheep. Sadamm used them and now they are gone, just like that>>>>>>>>>>>>
To: DarthMaulrulesok
Very simple reason for them to come clean so to speak.Der Spiegel keeps talking about the Iranian intel officer that say Iran was privy to 911 and was actually implicit in some of the planning and financing. Now, if that is proven true, that in itself would be enough for Iran to act in our interest.
