VANITY: The best way to keep America a sovereign free nation is to keep the Democrats out of power!
Free Republic

Will Bush solve the illegal immigration problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the government spending problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the campaign finance problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the drug war problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the nation's education problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called healthcare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called environmental problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the social security problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the medicare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush defend America from those bent on destroying her? You'd better bet your sweet bippy he will.

Will any of the Democrats defend America? Hell no they won't. They'd rather turn us over to the U.N. They'd surrender to the French Foreign Legion if given the chance.

Will Bush appoint conservative judges? Yup!

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, appoint conservative judges? Yeah, right. And hell will freeze over tomorrow.

Will Bush continue reducing taxes? Yup.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, raise your taxes as soon as they possibly can if given the opportunity and continue raising them until hell freezes over? Yup.

Will Bush defend the right to life? Check

Will Bush defend marriage between a man a woman? Check

Will Bush defend the right to keep and bear arms? Check

Will Bush say no to Kyoto? Check.

Will Bush say no to a world court? Check.

Will Bush say no to the U.N.? Check.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, remove our national sovereignty and subjugate America to world government? Just as quickly as they possibly can if given the opportunity.

Will any other person be elected to the Presidency in 2004 other than Bush (God willing) or a Democrat? Obviously not.

Doesn't make a lick of sense to me to allow the America hating, freedom hating Democrats back into power now that we've kicked them out.

Say yes to sovereignty for America and continued freedom for all Americans.

Say no to the RATS!!

Achieving 8% Economic Growth in One Year while printing 5% Government Bonds which you'll hafta pay off, an extra 5% a year, over the next 30 years. INSANITY!!

By definition. At least when not under wartime conditions. I guess everyone does know it though.

The Founders never found any way to stop us from destroying the republic if we just didn't care about it. I see a lot of that even at FR, a forum with a strong constitutional history.

Sure the Liberty Caucus headed up by Ron Paul. I believe Jim has an entire forum dedicated to it here.

What?! Liberty Committee has a forum here?

I haven't seen it. Some new corner of FR I haven't found?

I consider those guys (and gal) to be my congressman, not that RINO who pretends to represent me. They're the ones I write to. But I write the RINOs when they ask.

Liberty Caucus and Tom DeLay are the only hope the hardcore conservatives have in Congress.

I just may not be able to muster the energy to get to the polling place this November.

Laz, that's certainly your right to choose. But with that choice comes the cost of then forfeiting all legitimate right to complain, or criticize anything that elected official does.

Too much of cutting noses to spite faces for my tastes. And a slap at those who sacrified and died so I could and hopefully would have the right to go to the polls and vote.

You can complain all you want about "Low Foreign Wages", but the USA cannot possibly compete when the Federal Government is Taxing and Regulating away 52 percent of the US National Economy... while the Red Chi-Coms in Peking are Taxing and Regulating away less than 30 percent of the Chinese National Economy.

But the Chinese aren't building up Iraq and making the world safe for the free flow of commercial goods. The Chinese aren't dumping $15 billion to cure AIDS in Cambodian prostitutes, nor are they seeking ways to educate, medicate, clothe, house, employ and retire the Mexican population - along with untold millions of ne're-do-wells already living off the spoils of our past success.

As long as we have Globalist Crusaders spending every waking moment looking for ways to reverse the wages of sin through profligate spending and wholesale theft and corruption of the American family, America will never compete with nations like China who primarly seek their own self interests.

I find it interesting that the Don Quixotes in Washington are doing to the American Republic what President Ronald Reagan did to the Soviet Union - get the people to devote an inordinate amount of money and effort towards things that don't maintain the economy. The USSR spent way too much on a military it wouldn't use, and now the inside-the-Beltway types are spending way too much on things that are actually contrary to sustaining a viberant domestic economy.

Thanks... as I suspected they have no national plan nor zero chance of getting elected. You don't have to be a stragetist to see a plan in place that gives the opportunity to at least win.

Being in a round room looking for a corner to hide in is really hard ain't it?

I figured your room to be padded, but round as well? Wow, they must really be worried you'll hurt yourself.

I find the liberal candidates in both parties uninspiring and not worth getting off the couch to go vote for. The thing that worries me about Bush is that he has a far better chance of getting the FTAA treaty passed through both houses.

Have you read the FTAA treaty?

It's GOP, dammit... G O P. Or "pubbies".

Yeah, well libertarians generally refer to the "GOP" as Republicrats or the Dems as Demoblicans recognizing that there is no real difference between them. SOS, different name.

I have found Sabertooth to be confident and secure in his positions, thoughtful and willing to walk against the current of the popular trend when scruples and careful analysis inform him that the current of the popular trend is tending toward a waterfall.

Sabertooth is is right on Bush and right on Schwarzenegger. Better still, Sabertooth has the courage of his well-informed convictions.

I have no real dispute with Sabertooth.

The 38% figure is a compilation of Federal (approaching 24%) and State (approaching 14%) Taxation Burden. And the 14% Regulatory Burden is certainly NOT impossible to quantify. The compliance cost in man-hours alone approaches $900 Billion.

Actually, I think the GOP might take stronger action on regulatory burden in '04-'08. But if spending and entitlements continue to expand, it's hard to argue that our economy will become more efficient overall.

Still, reducing the hurdles to starting a business and employing people would be a tremendous incentive for the growth of small business.

Libertarians are for OPEN BORDERS

Correction: the LP has that as a party platform. I am a small "l" libertarian. In general I support immigration, but I want to keep the scum of the earth out of the US.

Libertarians are PRO-ABORTION

Again this is the party platform. Many (maybe as much as 50%) of libertarians are in fact pro-life. Do you think all Republicrats are pro-life? Your hero, Guliani - is he pro-life? Don't think so, but look for him to have a change of heart if he ever decides to run for a national office.

No bona fide FReeper calls the President "Dubya" either.

You're obviously a newbie.

In the run-up to the 2000 election, many of his most fervent supporters--myself included--consistently and quite affectionally called Dubya "Dubya."

Now I call his simpering toadies "Dubya Dimbulbs."

Privately, of course.

voting population is REAL conservative, in your estimation

Well, I guess if I were backed into a corner I would have to say about 35%. Sound reasonable to you?

The text I've posted here consumes very little bandwidth, especially when contrasted with the multiple large pictures posted on many threads.

Nittany, almost no graphics are hosted by FR. We post links to other sites. So our posters (not management) are stealing borrowing their bandwidth to post those pictures. It's not FR doing it. Very little of FR's bandwidth cost has anything to do with transmitting photos.

Oh, okay. Thanks for the correction - I assumed it required bandwidth to pull pics down even when hosted somewhere else. Learn something every day...

Oh I support Bush the Younger. It makes me sick to my stomach to vote for someone who has done so much to increase the reach, power and scope of the Imperial Federal Government (TSA, Patriot Act, Dept of Education, Prescription Drug Coverage, too many to list), but I'll support him.

The two party system is all about the lesser of two evils anyway.
