VANITY: The best way to keep America a sovereign free nation is to keep the Democrats out of power!
Free Republic

Will Bush solve the illegal immigration problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the government spending problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the campaign finance problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the drug war problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the nation's education problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called healthcare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called environmental problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the social security problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the medicare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush defend America from those bent on destroying her? You'd better bet your sweet bippy he will.

Will any of the Democrats defend America? Hell no they won't. They'd rather turn us over to the U.N. They'd surrender to the French Foreign Legion if given the chance.

Will Bush appoint conservative judges? Yup!

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, appoint conservative judges? Yeah, right. And hell will freeze over tomorrow.

Will Bush continue reducing taxes? Yup.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, raise your taxes as soon as they possibly can if given the opportunity and continue raising them until hell freezes over? Yup.

Will Bush defend the right to life? Check

Will Bush defend marriage between a man a woman? Check

Will Bush defend the right to keep and bear arms? Check

Will Bush say no to Kyoto? Check.

Will Bush say no to a world court? Check.

Will Bush say no to the U.N.? Check.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, remove our national sovereignty and subjugate America to world government? Just as quickly as they possibly can if given the opportunity.

Will any other person be elected to the Presidency in 2004 other than Bush (God willing) or a Democrat? Obviously not.

Doesn't make a lick of sense to me to allow the America hating, freedom hating Democrats back into power now that we've kicked them out.

Say yes to sovereignty for America and continued freedom for all Americans.

Say no to the RATS!!

Now that Bush has brought the immigration problem up for discussion, I'm still waiting for those who criticize Bush to come up with a workable plan to solve the problem. Have you seen any reasonable suggestions?

I registered as a Democrat when I was young, but I was never a liberal and never really a Democrat and I've never considered myself part of the Democrat party. I just never bothered re-reigistering. As far as that goes, I've never considered myself as part of the Republican Party either. I've always valued freedom and independence. I've never favored big government or soicalism or high taxes or any other Democrat or liberal program or issue.

Until relatively recently, I've always been too busy raising a family, working, running a business, etc, to get seriously involved in politics. And any off time I had was spent with family enjoying freedom and the great American outdoors, travel, exploring, camping, fishing, jeeping, etc.

I have absolutely zero respect for any Democrat office holder or candidate and never will until or unless they denounce abortion, gun control, homosexualism, homosexual marriage, environmentalism, socialism, globalism, subjugation to world governmental bodies, big government programs, high taxes, etc, etc, etc. In other words, until or unless they rip their official party platform to shreds and replace it with pro-America, pro-God, pro-morality, pro-Constitution and pro-freedom planks.

I tend to agree with GWB.. It's the congress...Gov101. IMO Bush knows the D are not going to agree to ANYTHING he asks for. Therefore: If he asked for too little they'd only agree to less. He's asking for too much...SO it should turn out JUUUUST right! (Remember he's used this technique before!)

Hoo cares who gets credit fer it as long as fiscal discipline is instituted?!

I don't. I'll give Bush all the credit for reining in the runaway spending (that he asked for). Even if I know it's the snarling conservative base that put the fear of the ballot into their craven hides.

Great post there, Mud.

Here's my brain storm for what it's worth:
There are several million illegals. Are we planning on rounding them up, putting them on buses or trains and deporting them without due process......

Think: How many court cases can our overloaded courts handle? Are you willing to let the 9th Circus decide, (many are in their jurisdiction.)

Let's talk solutions instead of problems. We should stop blaming it all on "W" This has been a huge issue before he was elected. But his predecessor chose to ignore and use it for his own political gain. It's just another mess he's been lesft to clean up!

"I tend to agree with GWB.. It's the congress...Gov101."

You may be overestimating GOP Congressfolk's willingness to go against the Leader of their Party in a time of War, ma'am...a huge plurality of folks are willing to give Dubyuh a lotta rope due to his commendable performance in the War on Terror. If Bush were to lead us to the Right, I am confident that the same folks who fought so confidently against BigGuv'ment overspending in '94 would rally around a genuine attempt to curtail outta-control spending in this upcoming legislative session...but those same folks will be unlikely to undercut their Party leader on the same issue if he refuses to take the proper stand!!

"IMO Bush knows the D are not going to agree to ANYTHING he asks for. Therefore: If he asked for too little they'd only agree to less. He's asking for too much...SO it should turn out JUUUUST right! (Remember he's used this technique before!)"

How exactly is Dubyuh asking fer too much?! Seems to me President Bush is ceding too much ground to the Left as it is, and any compromise he makes is already giving ground to the Leftists. IMHO, we need to make demands to the Right and when we compromise, we will still be tending to end up to the Right of where we started!!

Dubyuh holds the ultimate cards as his veto requires a 2/3rds majority to override, which means he would need 100% of DemonRATS and some one-third of RINOs to override Dubyuh's wishes.

Well, I've thought about that veto and that override. That would be pretty interesting.

His objection, given that he already said that he wanted 3.5% more originally, could only be that they didn't spend (borrow) enough.

And in order to sustain his veto, he'd have to send Rove up the Hill to assemble the biggest RINOs and the Dims together against the most conservative elements in Congress.

A pretty picture, Bush and the biggest liberals in Congress, including the Dims, trying to force the more conservative GOP congressmen to spend more!

I'm laughing at the thought. Rove, I'm afraid, just isn't going to give us such juicy entertainment.

No, I'm not too worried about the veto. As I've said, I would have welcomed one long before now.

BTW, I think Tom DeLay knows all this stuff, inside out. And I think he's probably laughing too or I miss my mark with that man.

Ya have to understand, Slim, they're a real bunch of political bastages, through an' through. And Congress doesn't like to be dictated to, even by a president of their own party.

"There are several million illegals. Are we planning on rounding them up, putting them on buses or trains and deporting them without due process..."

IMHO, we oughtta be prepared to hold folks responsible fer breaking the laws of this Country, but we oughtta be willing to give them some time to head home in a timely basis, in exchange fer the right to make a case fer re-entering this country as guest-workers!!** The thing is, we oughtn't let law-breakers have precedence over folks who have been diligently trying to accesss the riches of this Country via legal means...if we do, we can only expect MORE law-breaking, not less!!

"Think: How many court cases can our overloaded courts handle? Are you willing to let the 9th Circus decide, (many are in their jurisdiction.)"

My point is, if you make it known that America will no longer look the other way regarding this OriginalSin upon entering our Country, most of these folks will find their own way home and begin the process of LEGALLY entering this Country!!

"Let's talk solutions instead of problems. We should stop blaming it all on "W" This has been a huge issue before he was elected. But his predecessor chose to ignore and use it for his own political gain. It's just another mess he's been left to clean up!"

I'll be the first to admit that this mess was not made by Dubyuh, but his willingness to ignore the blatant law-breaking has already contributed to an up-tick in illegal immigration as folks cross our borders to take advantage of Dubyuh's proposed de-illegalization of illegal border crossing.

FReegards...MUD

BTW...**(If you think this is unworkable, you gotta understand that here in Richmond, VA, many of our sheet-rock workers are Mexican illegals, and every year around Christmas, a huge majority of them return to Mexico for the better part of a month...I'd be lying if I said we wouldn't miss them for a greater span of time, but they have a home and a trade that would benefit their hometowns...and they'd have an American employer working diligently to get them back into America as legitimate citizens!!)

Your links prove my point:

- the EPA GHG program is voluntary - 54 companies (out of thousands) signing up

- Clean Air Act, first passed in 1970 is NOT Kyoto.

To paraphrase Star Trek "Kyoto is dead, Jim."

For years our local farmer relied on "Migrant workers to work the melon fields....Then they discovered they could stay, find "winter jobs", keep their kids in school (great well behaved kids). They open restaurants (appreciated)other businesses or found full time employment, Bought houses, Sent for their relatives. We now have a very large Hispanic group. They are hardworking, family oriented, and have contributed much......OTOH no one has asked if they are legal or illegal! They don't want to appear to be bigots (this is the home county of the original KKK) so we are gracious, supportive and ignore any discretion that may be.

OTOH My cousin teaches in CA...Half of her students speak a language other than English....No two the same language! She has students whose parents are here legally, drive BMW, vacation in Europe and GET FREE LUNCH, BOOKS ETC. THEY REFUSE TO SALUTE THE FLAG AND ARE DISRUPTIVE AND DISRESPECFUL IN CLASS.

What's wrong with this picture? Which group would you like to see go back home. I know my answer.
