" Re: Dean just said the terrorist already won

Did he really say that? . . c'mon, not even Dean is that ignorant."

I guess we're supposed to vote for Dean because he's the one that's ready to sign the surrender document.

There was NO surplus.......it was a PROJECTED surplus. By the time X42 left office the economy was going DOWN DOWN DOWN

Hell's bells, Rep. Clyburn seems to be implying that Kerry brings real credibility to this race. Also, Vietnam....Kerry....Vietnam....Did I mention Kerry???

NAACP (Buchanan left off the P part!) has suspended its boycott for the presidential debates. Ain't that nice? (/sarcasm in case no one detected it.)

Kay is an amazing man......his answers had that strong ring of truth as he calmly and strongly deflected kennedy's swarmy attempts (and there were a LOT of them) to get Kay to indict President Bush over Iraq and WMD.

Kay responded accurately, not becoming flustered or overtly angry with kennedy's desparate needleing, and his statement that the President instructed him to get to to truth, 'with no direction other than that', was just so revealing.

It so drew a line between how our President runs his office and our nation, and how the dems cannot stand the integrity and grit of President Bush. Bush's strength is his character, and there is not one dem who can stand up to it.

Clinton made ( or exposed ) liars out of all who supported him. Once you defend the indefensible, it is difficult to get off the railroad. Lieberman seems to be succeeding at this, a bit, the rest of these loons...lol...are unfamiliar with character. Which, in the end, is why they all appear so exceedingly devoid of conviction and integrity.

The day of 9/11, two names came to my mind, Saddam, and believe it or not, Osama bin Laden. I actually remembered OBL from an interview I saw of him on CNN in 1998.

I believe it. On the original 9-11 thread, by 9:08 AM Osama's name was mentioned: World Trade Center 9-11 live thread.

I don't remember anyone mentioning Saddam, though.

No, Chris was correctly asking Dean to expound on his accusation against Cheney.

Of course, it is outrageous and baseless, but he's the one who said it.

Well, that explains why all Dean's money went on TV ads......and the people were complaining bitterly about how annoying they were!

Dean's been stabbed in the back...LOLOL

And after Mathews spent a week actively trying to destroy Dean, he goes on Imus and does a fake mea culpa, "my son supports Dean". How phoney, acting like he wasn't really on the hunt. I hate him.

"You Got Mail" is on tv tonight. Did you know it's a remake of a 1940 James Stewart movie, "Little Shop Around the Corner".

Wow! I hadn't read that thread. Saddam was actually my second choice, but I deduced the USS Cole and the embassy bombings and the Marines in Mogudishu to come to the conclusion it was OBL.

Yeah. It's hilarious. It'll be even funnier when come November, because the Demoncrat party is what it is, I will have the vote for that &^%$$# George W. Bush.

I didn't vote for him last time. I am not 100% sure I will this time. The more he does, the less I like him, that's for sure. But maybe I just haven't lowered my expectations enough yet. Maybe I have sink lower still.

Greenville is one of the most cosmopolitan and business-oriented cities in SC...strongly Republican. I've seen River Dance and 2 or 3 other musicals in the Peace auditorium and was struck by the caliber of the folks attending it....much better and appropriately dressed than those I attended in Charlotte,NC.

Yeah, I remember that thread well for personal reasons, and I remember seeing what HalfIrish said. Ominous words. At 9:08, both towers had been hit, so we all knew it was terrorism, but neither tower had come down yet.

Dennis Miller: John Kerry takes regular doses of "gaunt." Howard Dean is trying to raise funds by auctioning off a rectal thermometer he once used.

I remember I had just woken up at just after 7am Mountain that morning and after the top of the hour news, they carried the audio of WABC TV in NY for most of the morning here on the local radio station, until I got to the TV where I saw it on videotape on FOX News.
