More power to 'em. 'Course, what they're sending is less of a space vessel than a missile. Going up and out isn't the hard part. It's landing in one piece and returning in one piece that's the real trick.

What these people are essentially accomplishing is a Suicide Sputnik. It's cool and all, but it's been done...almost 50 years ago.

Some polidiot will pass a littering law for the moon soon hopefully. Nothing quite as human as trashing pristene real estate ! But then maybe using the moon as a dumpsite may not be such a bad idea.
