"Celebrity Justice" has learned that prosecutors in the Kobe Bryant case have contacted a Portland, OR hotel worker. Sources tell "CJ" that this woman says she had a sexual encounter with Kobe Bryant at a hotel where she worked.
"CJ" has learned the woman works for room service at the hotel. Sources tell "CJ" the woman disclosed to co-workers that the meeting between her and the NBA superstar was "hot and heavy."
Sources close to the woman tell "Celebrity Justice" she and Bryant actually met a few years ago at the hotel and he continued to request her for room service on repeated visits there.
Sources say the encounter prosecutors are particularly interested in allegedly happened in April, 2003. Sources claim that Bryant requested that the woman deliver him room service. When the woman went to his room, a source tells "CJ" Bryant began flirting with her and she was receptive. "CJ" is told the two then began having a romantic encounter. According to these sources, the young woman at one point put a stop to things because she felt guilty- she was involved with someone else at the time and also knew Kobe was married. These same sources tell "CJ" Bryant and the woman then began to get intimate again. Sources say the woman finally said "no" and the encounter stopped. "CJ" is told the encounter did not get as far as sexual intercourse and was consensual.
The incident could impact the trial if prosecutors are attempting to establish an M.O. or pattern of behavior on the part of Kobe Bryant.
"Celebrity Justice" spoke with the woman in question who was extremely distraught over being brought into the Kobe case. A source says if subpoenaed, she would testify about her relationship with Kobe. The source says she did, however, describe Bryant as a "perfect gentleman" and says she hopes he is acquitted of sexual assault charges in Colorado.

I'm suprised it took this long to find another women that Kobe was "intimate" with. Not much there for the prosecution and may even hurt thier case, but it won't do Kobe marriage any good either.

If this is as reported, it is disaster for State.
Their entire case rests on claim that when asked to stop, Bryant did not.
This woman, completely divorced from current case, says that in same circumstance, he did stop.
Rape cases where the supposed vic put herself in the physical location are very hard to prove in the first place, absent extensive physical evidence of PHYSICAL ASSAULT.
There is evidence in this case of sex or attempted sex, but no solid evidence of assault.
This witness casts severe doubt over entire case.

A pattern of promiscuous behavior only establishes that Kobe is an unfaithful husband, a fact we already knew, and one that is not criminal. If this woman testifies that Kobe always respected her wishes then that only damages the prosecutor's case. The DA has run out of feet to shoot himself in.
To: Smogger
Kobe is one dumbass overgrown adolescent who has had his keester kissed for years. But nothing in his behavior or demeanor indicates he would be a sexual predator. Can you imagine how many women throw it at him?
On the other hand the woman who is accusing him has been an obvious nutcase since day one. I hope the local people have the good sense to dump this grandstanding politically motivated abusive prosecutor when he come up for re-election.

Character evidence? If the state doesn't introduce it, the defense probably won't be able to either. Defense is probably hoping the state does, and thereby "opens the door"
Typically can't use prior acts to show current conformity therewith...

Probably agreed to no intercourse because he was done.

Folks do you really think that the encounter in Colorado is the first time Kobe cheated on his wife?

This DA needs to get out of this case NOW.
