Pull your head out of your a-- and come here to the Napa Valley (you could commute) and prune grape vines. Is it your opinion that the work is beneath your talents and self-esteem? Or, you might go to McDonald's, Jack-In-the-Box, etc. Plenty of work, why don't you do it?

No thanks, my work experience and education requires a higher wage. Pruning grapes is an art, and experienced pruners command wages up to 20$ per hour. Leave the fast food jobs to the teenages/seniors who are looking for work or to earn extra money. What's your point?

My point is that you and people like you think you are to good for the work discribed. So the jobs are filled by Mexicans, legal or illegal. The next time you drive by a fast-food restaurant take a look at the workers. They are hispanic. The USofA does not have enough European-Americans or African-Americans to fill the low pay jobs. If you and your type kiked out the hispanics this economy would collapse and your salary requirements would go with it. Wake-Up!

My point here is that this isn't about "the jobs Americans don't want to do." This is all about matching workers willing to work for minimum wage or less to employers who are willing to break the law to hire them.

Oh, and by the way...this ain't California, Arizona, New Mexico, or any other border state. This kind of disregard for proper social behavior is coming to a neighborhood near you with absolutely no regard for wherever in America you may live. Get ready, here it comes!!!

No nation can stop illegal immigration when the numbers are so large as those that are coming across our borders. PERIOD!!! Look at the history of South Africa, for an example. You can shoot them, arrest them, etc., a nation still can't deal with these numbers. There has to be a way to include them in the nations culture. Bush has so proposed. All you advocate, in the long run, is shoot them or put them in prison.

What absolute nonsense. We do not have to shoot millions of people, as you go on to suggest. We merely have to make it clear that we will, if necessary, use whatever force is necessary to defend our borders. The alternative is a form of Communism, achieved by Gandhian tactics.

You mention the history of South Africa, with which I am well acquainted. Perhaps you would offer some suggestion of just what in the history of South Africa justifies your premise. I can assure you that, in hindsight, the South Africans would have done more to control the inflow from the North, had they realized where it all would end up.

A nation reflects the people of that nation. If you allow a wholesale repopulation of America, you change everything about America. That is not acceptable to any Conservative American. (See Immigration & The American Future.)
