Rush's Ratings Rise Confounds Democrat Prosecutors

If Democrats were hoping that the bogus pain-pill probe launched by partisan Florida prosecutors against Rush Limbaugh was going to topple him as the nation's number one talk host, they got some bad news on Wednesday. The phony scandal has actually boosted Limbaugh's ratings.
Arbitron numbers released by Limbaugh's Premier network showed a nine percent increase in listeners age 12 and over compared with ratings for the summer survey.
Major urban markets coast-to-coast showed a healthy boost in Limbaugh's listenership, with affiliates in New York City up by 8 percent, Los Angeles up 14 percent, Chicago up 15 percent and Houston up a whopping 23 percent.
Meanwhile, a lawyer for the Florida Attorney General's office is questioning the motives of investigators probing Limbaugh, saying they selectively withheld pertinent parts of communications with her office in what looks like an attempt to justify their actions.
''It seems to me that the purpose in contacting me about this issue may not have been to obtain impartial advice on an open government issue, but rather to use a part of our conversation to justify your office's decision that [case] documents should be released," general counsel Patricia Gleason complained in a letter. "This is disappointing to me personally and professionally.''

I haven't heard of this before, I hope that it leads to something against the demo prosecutorial dirtbags.

Rush had been coasting and riding off past success. This seems to have lit a fire under his butt.

Rush had been coasting and riding off past success. An observation NOT supported by on-air performance.

It just shows that Rush's sub hosts can draw better than he can.

It's attributed to something that liberal filth doesn't have a clue about: loyalty to your friends.

I love Rush. don't think there's anything will ever change that. He's a heck of a guy, good thinker, funny, lovable teddy bear.

I think that you are wrong about this. I think that Rush has improved since he stopped taking the painkillers. His brain is sharper, and he has a fire in his belly and the same edginess that took him to the top.
For the last few years, I thought that Rush had mellowed somewhat, and I now think that was because of the drugs. Nobody can say that he is mellow anymore, he is back on fire.
Liberals look out! LOL

Glad to hear Rush's numbers are up,despite the Florida prosecutor's campaign against him.A voice of sanity in a sea of insanity always comes through loud and clear.
