Hoffman Signed On To Play Dad
Barbra Streisand could return to acting by playing Ben Stiller's mother.
Streisand's husband, James Brolin, told "Access Hollywood" that she is reading the script for "Meet the Fockers."
The movie is a sequel to "Meet the Parents."
Streisand hasn't made a movie since "The Mirror Has Two Faces" about eight years ago.
Dustin Hoffman will play Ben Stiller's father. Pat O'Brien on "Access Hollywood" joked Streisand could be playing "mother Focker."
That's when Brolin laughed and said, "That's what I call her, won't be unusual for me."

Us, too, James, that's what we call her.
;-)
(P.S. And she won't have to 'act' at all!!!)

Yet another product of Hollywood that I will not pay a dime for. Some of my work buddies can't believe how little movies I watch. The fact that I have yet to see Pirates of the Carribean bugs the hell out of one of them.
If the Russians would have nuked Hollywood during the Cold War, I would not have missed it.

Pirates of the Carribean I don't care for Johnny Depp as a person, but I saw it and it was great!

At first I was having trouble reading the text of this thread on my monitor. I thought she was going to play "Stifler's mother".

Now I can take a crappy movie I wouldn't have gone to anyway, not go to it, and call it a boycott!
Thanks for making my inaction a meaningful gesture!

Dare I ask? Is she playing Mother Focker?
Bad, Hobbit. Bad, bad.

Well, I think Ben Stiller is a laugh riot myself. Meet the Parents was hilarious and Something about Mary cracked me up. He plays the same idiot in every movie....himself.
I am sure that I will buy it when it gets to the Hastings used DVD bargain bin. I bought Meet the Parents for $7.99 so I know they didn't get much out of me.

Bar has got to be the UGLIEST, NO TALENT, IGNORANT WHORE that I've ever seen. This is what happens when stupid, ugly people breed. It's a shame that money doesn't equal at least a little brains - she might be able to wind her own watch. (It's a digital, but she doesn't know it).

This is why I like to watch Turner Classic Movies....
The vulgarity of a good share of the newer movies are an insult to most people.

Is she playing Mother Focker? She'll be one nasty, ugly Focker. I'll say that much.
