Anyone but Dodd. We just hope Orchulli if elected doesn't become a RINO.

A fashion design company executive who didn't even join the GOP until this year? A RINO for certain, maybe a bit light in the loafers as well. Not that there's anything wrong with that . . . .
It really doesn't matter who runs against Dodd, because Dodd is guaranteed reelection absent a first-tier opponent such as RINO Congressman Chris Shays. In fact, I have long argued that we should convince Shays to run against Dodd, because even Shays would be preferable to Dodd in the Senate, and since it would allow us to elect a real Republican to Shays' House seat.

Even if he were the worst kind of RINO, I'd vote for him just to get rid of Dodd. Then if he's all that bad, vote for the Democrat next time around to get him out of there.
Dodd is terrible, and he has a lot of seniority. Well worth getting rid of him.

Agreed - and if we don't run someone against him, there is no way Dudd will lose - so it's worth giving it a try with a guy who can selffinance.

If these people think that they can win against Chris Dodd in Connecticut then they lack enough intelligence to be a Senator.
Opposing Chris Dodd is a waste of time and money.
I wish it were otherwise, but that's the fact.

RINO,RINO,RINO,RINO. That's the extent of our commentary these days. You're not going to get a Tom Delay conservative in Conneticut- not statewide. Different geography calls for a different political strategy.

I would give $1 Million dollars to have a RINO in Dudd's seat.

You hope for too much. Connecticut is RINO Country. Still, better a RINO than a 'Rat.
