You must be thinking of EMILY'S List, the pro-abort, 'Rat fundraising PAC. This one is modeled after it, but seeks to help pro-life women win public office.

No. Not quite. Read it again.

"...increase the percentage of liberal women in Congress and high public office."Don't know where ya got that from. Susan B. Anthony when she was alive was strongly opposed to and fought back alley abortions.

Congress desperatly needs more pro-life women. House and Senate. Liddy Dole is the only one in the senate.

I Wish they'd elect pro life men as well. They do. From the site:
The goal of the SBA List Candidate Fund is to increase the percentage of pro-life women in Congress and high public office. To do this the Candidate Fund:
-recruits and endorses pro-life women candidates, our primary focus,
-endorses pro-life men challenging proabortion incumbent women,
-endorses pro-life male incumbents challenged by pro-abortion women candidates, and
-endorses pro-life male candidates challenging pro-abortion women candidates in open seats.

After looking thru their website last night I've found SBA to be a wonderful organization.

Thankyou all for the corrections. I only read the posted sentence, which said nothing about pro-life women, just getting
women elected. Looking at the linked site, I'd say it looks pretty good.
Sonny, I'm aware that SBA opposed abortion but in other matters she was quite liberal. Anyway, thanks again for the heads up.

Even if that urban legend is true, it was 30 years ago. And who do you reccomend for President this year?
