I heard this on the radio this morning. We should all listen to it now and then to remind us about the kind of person who was killed on 9/11. She sounded calm in spite of everything that was going on around her. It's hard to imagine that she died the way she did soon after she spoke those words.

Scotch, I think I can speak for most people here on FR. Most or all of us keep files of interest to conservatives but ESPECIALLY files/links/pics/tributes/memorials to 9/11.

I have one of my hard drives dedicated to nothing but 9/11. It is a 40 gig drive and about half full right now but it keeps growing as new information is discovered or reported.

Never forget!

One way to ensure that you do NOT forget is to keep files/links, etc and refer to them occasionally.

"As for these tapes, I don't know if releasing them publicly was a good idea."

It's a matter of perspective.

I can understand how painful it might be for you but for those of us who are disconnected from NY and have no chance of seeing the WTC site then it is good that the tape was released. It might also inspire ScotchBible to start his file collection.

It also serves as a good reminder to all of us that we must never forget and not become complacent.

Poor Betty. She was murdered shortly after the tape. And so many others.

Look at these jerks in the Democrat party who will adopt policies that will result in even more murders of this kind.

I am wondering if it is something you could just post on FR. Perhaps edited some. I could understand that it might be too painful if some idiot decided to flame you over it.

I do not know how to save most the audio files I find online, nor how to save material like the 7MB file at http://www.gunstuff.com/america-attacked.html.

I agree with you that very important things disappear from the web--things that can be found nowhere else. It's a hard lesson to learn.

God Bless you for speaking to this subject. I know it must be so difficult for you. You are a brave soul to have gone through this, and still be the strong person I know you to be from your posts on FR.

Listening to the tape of this woman, I can't help but think how proud her family must be of her. She showed so much strength in the face of the madness going on around her.

I just hope that this serves as a reminder of the innocent lives lost on September 11. I marvel at why some question our continued fight on terrorism. I'm listening to the Kay hearings as I'm typing this. Unbelievable.

Selfishly, I would like to hear those last words of Betty piped over the loudspeaker at the Dem convention. Over and over again.

That's strange. I saw the towers for the first time on a flight out to Maine on 8/12. I stayed at the same hotel in Portland ME that the hijackers stayed at and went to that same convenience store and gas station.

Pray for W and the survivors of 9/11

I don't know about you guys, but I am still angry. I am tired of Democrats and Euro weenies who want to offer us up as human sacrifices to these monsters. I am tired of the chattering classes wondering "Why we went to war in Iraq?" and not remembering what happened that awful day when 3,000+ of our own were murdered.

Finally, I am tired of these monsters. Osama Bin Laden and the rest, they kill, they maim, and what does it do for their so-called cause? NOTHING! It motivates us to simply give them the proverbial beating they richly deserve? And, do their fellow muslims do anything to rid themselves of these idiots so as not to get another visit from the JDAM delivery service? No, they support the idiots who bring down all that death on them in the first place? I am sorry, but Islam is a sick religion, it's sick with a corruption of the spirit where it rejects modernitity and any attempt to co-exsist with anybody. I think if anybody needed a Western-style rennisance right now, it's the muslim world, but as it stands right now, we're going to have to bring it to them with the judicious use of both hearts and minds, and high explosive. And I support the invasion of Iraq. But not for reasons of WMD or any other reason than this: A message to the rest of the Arab world, and especially one to the small men in charge:

On 9/11 you killed us, and you celebrated the murder of our citizens, you gloried in their deaths. Here is the price of that philosiphy. Here is the response of the civilized world. Here is the war you chose. See it, feel it and ask yourselves? Does Jihad sound so great now?

I think we need to make some more examples. It's cold blooded, but then, so is war. And, we didn't start it, but we need to finish it. I am not putting my future daughter in a burkha!

I just wanted to say I agree with you about how employers do not value the well-rounded, creative, flexible employee. I think there's a mental form of repetitive motion injuries. "Overqualified" means "can and will do more than the very most common tasks involved in the job but wants to be paid for the difference."

Every single year we go through a huge hassle with our mortgage and insurance companies because the escrow and the premium are never in sync--they do this all the time, but you'd think they'd never done it before. We end up spending hours on the phone. It's not an emergency! but it's their JOB, and they can't handle the simplest deviation in routine. I shudder to think what they'd do if there was some kind of emergency affecting them. They can't think, follow through, or come up with a solution to the simplest problem--what would happen if they were handed a life-or-death matter?

Probably what we hear on this call.

Well put. I get so pissed when I hear Deano say he would have a "Dialog " with people and countries who we have a problem with.

Here is the translation,"We will provide you with all the US citizens you need so you may sacrifice them in honor of your religious beliefs. Just don't hurt ME, because I am an elitist and feel that I do not need to follow any rules."
