Jim Angle (FOX NEWS) just asked Scott McClellan Why are we bring this into the country.
There was no real answer.

Probably because the only way they have to dispose of it is to EXPLODE it. Thus we have the means to make sure it is destroyed for all time, not shipped somewhere else so it can be resold to the bad guys again, and again, and again till one of them uses it. JMHO

where would you like it to go?
I am sure they are not talking about plutonium cores here, likely just parts and such.

Angle asked a stupid question.
"A U.S plane filled with Libyan nuclear components landed this morning at a U.S. facility in Knoxville, Tennessee, for destruction, a senior administration official said."

Knoxville is the key here.
Fairly close to Oak Ridge.
Probly as good a place to do it as anywhere

"Jim Angle (FOX NEWS) just asked Scott McClellan Why are we bring this into the country."Just what country would you prefer it go to? Or should it stay in Lybia? Maybe we should trust it to the dictator's club at the UN?
I wouldn't grace such a stupid question with an answer either.
