WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A U.S plane filled with Libyan nuclear components landed this morning at a U.S. facility in Knoxville, Tennessee, for destruction, a senior administration official said.
"It is chock full of nuclear materials," the official said. "They let us take out some extraordinary stuff."

There was no real answer.

I believe Debka reported this 2 days ago. Looks like they were right this time.

Im sure Libya would be shipping their WMD to us if Qadaffi was not scared of being removed like Saddam.
Yeah right..

Probably because the only way they have to dispose of it is to EXPLODE it. Thus we have the means to make sure it is destroyed for all time, not shipped somewhere else so it can be resold to the bad guys again, and again, and again till one of them uses it. JMHO

Great! Why not announce to every raghead with an attitude that planes landing in Knoxville have nuclear materials in their payload!
Unless this is disinformation(which may very well be), publishing this is irresponsible.

where would you like it to go?
I am sure they are not talking about plutonium cores here, likely just parts and such.

Here is a return on our investment in Iraq - and I don't mean that with any sense of irreverence toward the 500+ brave U.S. (and dozens of other country's) soldiers who have paid the ultimate price to make this world a little safer. After viewing the resolve of President Bush, Ghaddafi has surrendered his nuclear ambitions, which would never have happened otherwise.

I wouldn't be the least surprised if Qaddafi gets Mussolini-ized by his own people soon.

"the Libyans have been extremely cooperative"I wonder if that might be, because they already passed off a working device and this is a cover? Seems to me if the KAdafi learned his lesson before, this stuff wouldn't even exist.

Knoxville is the key here.
Fairly close to Oak Ridge.
Probly as good a place to do it as anywhere

What are the chances that Libya had surprising amounts of WMD, but Iraq had none? Seems incredible to me.
