Steel Tarriffs
Which are now gone.

Aid To Africa

To stop aids also the nations have to make many reforms before they get the money

Anmensty for Criminal Invaders
It isn't amnesty, no matter how much you scream. I guess you are happy with the status quo.

Support for College Preferences for Minorities
Actually Bush's solicitor general argued against that.

Increase in Dept of Ed spending
Ronald Reagan never got rid of that dept. Also there are now high standards for schools which the liberals are whining about.

Increase in Farm Bill
No doubt about it farmers are a big voting bloc.

New home loan programs for Minorities
Actually it for those who have a job but don't have a down payment, be they white balck, brown, or polks dot. The FHA has given no down payment loans to rural people since the early 70's. Also the down payment is made up with higher closing costs and a higher interest rates. I guess you want to build new public housing, instead of people actually gaining some equity.

Signing CFR
Reagan appointee O'Connoe was the swing vote for that.

Suggesting he would re-authorize AWB
No surprise there, it was in his 2000 platform, also it has to pass the house.

Medicare Perscription Drug Coverage
Which has privatization provisions, which would never have been in there with a demo President.

Patriot Act
Oh my God, how dare Bush try to get the terrorists.

Sneak and Peak Legislation
hasn't affected me.

So as you can see you have a sound bite, but you leave out the facts.

It is an amnesty and no we are not happy with the status quo, we would like to see the border closed to illegals and those in the US deported.

The fact is people are unhappy on several fronts

I know that if some people on FR don't get 110% they are unhappy, but seem to be happier when they get nada from the demos.

Almost 300 million of the 360 million went to corporations, not farmers. Corporations do not vote.

This does not mean we have to like it or support him for it.

And your plan to deport 8 million people is?

If it's going after the employers are you going to start a new adminstration on the lines of the IRS called the Business Purity Administration to hassle businesses for the crime of hiring reliable workers who get the job done?

No, you are what is called a "yes-man."

To deny that there are people that are uncomfortable with some of Bush's domestic policies is to be willfully ignorant and ultimately HARMFUL to the adminstration. It is because *I* don't want to see a democrat in office, it is important that the adminstration knows it is in danger of alienating its supporters. People will sit out or vote third party. And don't give me that "Its people on FR..." line either, because it isn't.

We don't need more people ("yes-men") encouraging Bush to continue down some of the paths he has chosen. We were hardly the only people there echoing that sentiment, even CPAC had several panels discussing this very issue.

He needs the base to win. Your strong-arming and intimidating people that don't want to see a democrat in office, by calling them democrat supporters is disturbing.

Format note on your thread post: Please avoid abbreviation. In your post, the source link appears as "FOX". Would prefer "Fox News Channel" or "FOXNews.com". Grab a title actually used on the page of origin. Thanks.

No, you are what is called a "yes-man."

Actually I consider myself a realist. I know that one of two men from one of two political parties is going to be President and I focus on what I consider the greater number of negatives, then looking for perfection, for I know that I don't live in a perfect world.

In this case the person with the greater number of negatives is going to be the demo.

I am a realist and if I see people who have lost their enthusiasm and their interest in opening their wallets, I see a problem for the Republicans.

Your solution to this is to assist the GOP effort by further irritating conservatives and calling them democrat supporters. Making generalized moronic statements like "Do you want Dean instead" doesn't motivate loyalty. It doesn't make people support Bush, but rather it sends a message that you don't CARE that the core GOP supporters are unhappy. What result will that get you? Will your repeated denigration of an essential voting block of the GOP get them to support Bush, or will it help solidify their belief that their concerns don't matter?

Bush isn't king, he is elected. And if the people who helped elect him the first time are getting restless, he better take notice. We don't people like you pretending everything is peachy keen.

He's been trying to please the Demonrats, ignorant American public that shows it always wants more of big gov't at the risk of his conservative base. Can't please everybody obviously. And the Demonrats are saying he doesn't spend enough! Bush has failed his claims at being conservative with his big spending caves to Demonrats, but for the election he can use it against the Demonrats who want to spend even more. He'd better learn that 'compromise' and trying to please Demonrats is not doing him any good. I haven't been happy with his domestic timidity.

Okay you have convinced me. That you can't admit the facts and would rather drink the Bushbot Kool aid.

It wasn't Sandra O'connors fault Jorge Delano Bush signed CFR. It was Jorge Delano Bush's! Just because Bush resinded the Steel Tarriff doesn't make his original acts any less damning.

Oh and BTW, I didn't say a thing About Reagan. You did, to SPIN from the FACTS that I posted. You make Sid Blumenthal proud.

A question to Brandon, would you rather have nothing from a Kerry, Clark, or Edwards, or tax cuts, a war against terror, a PBA ban, nomination of conservative judges, provisions of privatization in the medicare bill, a President who is pushing tort reform and not in the pocket of the trial lawyers, a President who doesn't let the UN dictate foreign policy or economic policy.

I don't think anyone is complaining about these issues. It's Bush's domestic policy that runs counter to real Conservatism. Also, Bush has really failed in getting any of his judges through Congress.

Bush believes Govermnet is the answer, not the problem.

No matter whether you vote for a 'Republican' or 'Democrat' presidential candidate you will still get a Liberal in the White House. Bush has proven that with his complicity in CFR 1st Amendment destruction and associated IRS abuse, horrific entitlement spending increases (e.g Medicare), amnesty for illegal aliens, 'sneak and peek' in the Patriot Act, refusal to support the 10th Amendment to the Constitution, willing participation in the expansion of the Federal government (education via 'no child left behind', increasing EPA regulations, increasing NHSTA regulations), etc.

Bush is a Republican Liberal. His only difference with Liberals in the Democrat wing of the Liberal establishment is that his priorities for Big Government are slightly different from theirs - but with the same goal, complete subservience of Americans to their government and its associated political class.

A functioning definition of insanity is "doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting the results to be different".

Republicans have been elected. They have adopted the Liberal agenda and are enthusiastically putting in into place. Electing more Republicans will just result in more oppression, faster.

The only difference between the Republicans and the Democrats is that the Democrats want the US ruled by a combination of national and international despots while the Republicans will settle for tyranny by just national despots. The end result is the same - the destruction of our freedom.

Given the objectives of both parties are the same, how can anyone justify supporting either party?

Save America from the tyranny of Republican/Democrat hegemony. Support the Constitution Party.

Bush was forced to rescind the Steel Tariffs. He did not do it willing or by his own volition.

What? You don't like people passing wind in your face, and then telling you to lump it or else someone even smellier will (as certain french knights say) FIYGD? :^)
