(The only good news for Democrats is they could save $$ by switching to Geico.)

Savor the moment Wes. I think he spent most of the day campaigning there.

I just caught the end...what is this about?? Bush got 11 is that good? Never heard of the DIXVILLE NOTCH! They have a tradition of being the first to vote in the nation's first primary. It's a Midnight Mass sort of thing with the entire town's population voting after midnight......all one dozen of 'em.

This small community has always gathered and cast their votes as soon as the clock hits 12:01am on the day of their primary. It's a tradition thing.

Yes they have nothing to do up there. As someone said their votes never protend the real outcome.
It is always a hoot when their votes come in, especially on the day of the actual election. It gives the cable news guys something to talk about.
Maybe in November that can all put their 3rd or 4th string reporters there for the actual election. This will include Ashley Banfield of MSNBC, although she's about 5th string now. LOL
To: Polybius
There are 19 of them up there; NONE a registered Dem. They're all GOP or Indies. LOL
To: GeronL
11 Republicans...let see,,, 3 dozen?? Its a boom town Three dozen? Not one dozen?
The world is getting over-populated. :-)

Dixville is mostly a grand resort hotel, golf courses, ski area, rubber factory and all the folks who own and run the place. The ownership of the hotel comprises 15,000 acres in one of the most beautiful places in NH. In the past they have voted Republican, but in the primary, if one is registered as independent, one can take either ballot. The hotel is the Balsams and they have a web site. If ever you plan to book a visit, make sure you save plenty in advance.

Meanwhile, in New York City, Bill rings up his wife.
"Ha! Told you he'd start to pick up steam..."
"You and your idiot jerks. We're in the big city now, Bill. And if you keep calling me up like this, I'm going to divorce you and you'll never be the First Husband."
"But I was already President twice..."
"Oh, shuttup and go blow it on an intern." *click*
