WESLEY CLARK: MOORE HAS RIGHT TO CALL BUSH 'A DESERTER'
-- Even Peter Jennings Is Appalled!

JENNINGS: At one point Mr. Moore said in front of you that he'd like to see a debate between you and President Bush, who he called a deserter.
Now that's a reckless charge not supported by the facts and I was curious to know why you didn't contradict him and whether or not you think it would have been a better example of ethical behavior to have done so?
CLARK: Well, I think Michael Moore has the right to say whatever he feels about this. I don't know whether this is supported by the facts or not. I've never looked at it. I've seen this charge bandied about a lot. But to me it wasn't material. . . . And I'm delighted to have the support of Michael Moore . . . .

The Dems don't consider service in the national guard to be military service.
On FOX News last night Charles Rangle made a comment comparing Wes' (or Kerry?) military record to that of Bush "who didn't serve at all." The dumb FOX newsbabe replied "I can't argue with that".

To me it looked like Jennings kept trying to give Clark an opening to fix the gaff. Clark was to stupid to catch on. If a general doesn't understand what a deserter is he is not fit to wear a star, or a gold bar for that matter.
To: BurkesLaw
Moore is saying this stuff at Clark events, he's making news because of what he says about Bush, at Clark events. For all intents and purposes, Wes is Moore. :)
To: BurkesLaw
Jennings brought this up simply to get the allegation out there again.

Personally, I don't see one Democratic candidate that seems electable--but then I'm not a Bush-hating liberal.
My mother-in-law is a Democrat. Of all the snoozers, liars and clowns, she likes Edwards best. Of course, my mother-in-law thought Bill Clinton was the greatest because the 90's economy fattened her stock portfolio and President Bush (according to her way of thinking) flattened it.
I asked (nicely, because she is my mother-in-law) why she wasn't supporting or encouraging Al Gore to run, especially since she once remarked that Gore had more votes than Bush in 2000 and that the election was stolen by the GOP.
My mother-in-law looked at me like I was crazy and said: "He's no longer electable." Go figure...

And Jennings had such an outstanding record defending civilization in the Canadian Boy Scouts and Barbara Streisand's bedroom. It's heart-warming to have such a hero of moral integrity guarding U.S. National Security.

Notice with the dems it's always about electability and never about integrity.
They seem so proud of that little fact. The media seems to think it's quite cool too! They're not even embarrassed.

Clark is about as politically astute as a tree stump.
To: OldFriend
You know, if I were still a Dem and believed that hooey about Bush stealing the election, I'd want Al Gore to run again on principle.
Of course, I doubt that the Dems actually believe their own propaganda in regards to the 2000 election. Either that or principles are not one of their strong points... ;)

CLARK: Well, I think Michael Moore has the right to say whatever he feels about this. No wonder Clinton used this puke General to command a war on the innocent Serbs, in order to keep his Monica Lewinsky scandal diverted. And no wonder Clark obeyed.
Clark, Clinton and Albright ought to be jailed.

Without the fraud there is no way Gore would have come even close in the electoral votes and I doubt he would have garnered a majority of the votes either. The corruption was so widespread in the blue states that their numbers are not to be believed.
Further, New Mexico and Oregon were stolen plain and simple.

I know there were problems in Missouri, too.
Sigh. I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to November. It's gonna be ugly.

This was a BIG mistake. If somebody as liberal as Jennings thought calling Bush a "deserter" was "reckless and not supported by the facts" .. Clark really stepped in it by not agreeing with Jennings.

Dubya had challenges to the vote count in Oregon and New Mexico which were dropped when it became clear that he had won Florida.
It used to be that we accepted fraud in the inner cities but it has moved into the suburbs big time.
The President must make sure there are millions of dollars for poll watchers across the country or the election will be stolen.
We had such a massive amount of support that we survived just barely last time.....
This time the dems will try harder and not just to disqualify military votes.
