What a crock -

I guess it's ok to murder a child younger and smaller than yourself, as long as you are simply acting out wrestling moves....

Didn't his lawyers argue that he suffered a form of retardation and so couldn't be held responsible for the death of the little girl?

Now that he's out...and able to live a free life...we'll SEE just how lacking he is.

Makes me ill.

Mental Retardation my butt....

There have been inmates executed quite legally (and constitutionally) who have been far more "retarded" than this murderer.

What a travesty of justice.

I predict this "kid" will forever be a burden to society. Either on the public tit or in prison.

Poor baby, having to serve time in jail and all. Let's really coddle him and release him with 10 years of wimpy probation for murder.

What is this, freekin' England?

He'll see prison again before he sees the end of his probation.

Did anyone see his mother making comments to reporters a couple of weeks ago? When asked her feelings on his impending release, she said she was glad, because she was tired of making the drive every weekend to see him. What a loser.

Definitely. Not only was he clearly violent and out of control at the time that he killed the little girl, but he was so bad in prison that he had to be kept away from the other prisoners a good part of the time.

The prosecutor in this case had some very strong words about this "deal," which appeared yesterday in my local (Gainesville, FL) paper. He particularly commented on the fact that the Tate's mother is a law enforcement officer, but did not cooperate in any way.

It appears that one of the things crucial to this latest deal was that the mother of the victim had been pressured into "not wanting to ruin" this sweet little boy's life. I think he did that himself, aided by his mother. I hope she isn't able to get him off the next time, because there will certainly be a next time, unfortunately.

Well over here in NY, they let out two wonderful 'youth' after they gutted a man like a fish in a park.

Sad, but so true.

He killed the little girl over a one and one half hour period. He would stomp her (do wrestling moves?) go back to the TV set then return (5 times in all) to whomp her (body slammed?) some more. I'm betting he'll be violating probation with a few years. Be sent back to prison.

Unfortunately, nothing will change until enough children of affluent Liberals are similarly butchered. The children of the "lesser people" just aren't worth as much, you know, as is the idea...

He'll be re arrested within months. Let's just hope he doesn't hurt some innocent person.
