Would you please call NEST for all of us and ask them to please quit wasting taxpayers dollars?
Oh, and by the way, could you send word to the White House and Ridge and tell them not to bother with the smallpox vaccinations?
And one more thing, what's up with the NFL? Do you have any connections there? I live in Houston and can't get within 1 mile of the stadium without proper paperwork. And what the heck is that wall they built around the stadium, it's ugly? and why in the hell is North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command taking appropriate actions to deter and defeat any possible threats against Sunday's game and festivities.

Man, our government must be watching too much of your favorite television show.

WHat about Zawahiri's wonderful American adventures.

What then are the implications of Zawahiri's trips to the USA in the 80/90's to raise funds, even with Mohammad Ali, the ExEgyptArmy Green Beret, turned triple agent etc.

That same logic is used to potray AQ as a CIA front, otherwise why would Zawahiri be allowed to travel freely in the USA?

AQ as a Russian proxy sounds like a stretch.

In fact, the states involved are Saudi and Pakistan, not RUssia, IMO.

Caller claims to be Ohio highway sniper

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- For the first time, someone called police, claiming to be the sniper responsible for 20 highway shootings, authorities said today.

Chief Sheriff's Deputy Steve Martin said that the call is being taking seriously and that the task force investigating the shootings at cars, school buses and homes is trying to confirm whether the caller was the sniper.

Martin would not give details about what was said in the call, when it was made, whether it had been traced or whether the caller was a man or woman.

One person has been killed in the shootings since May along or near Interstate 270. No one else has been struck. The most recent shooting was Jan. 22.

I would like you to speak to the wives and families of some of my close friends who perished on 9/11.

Tell them that "Al Queda" is nothing but a big joke.

If you attended the wakes and funerals that I did in the weeks following the attacks,

I have a feeling your attitude would change in a heartbeat.

You guys are so sensitive.

I really do enjoy the thread, otherwise, why keep coming back.

And, I sure don't want our homeland security professionals to stop being vigilant. Nor do I suggest that each of us stop keeping our eyes posted. (Last year, I followed an unmarked truck down I-66 inside the beltway as it headed for DC. I knew it was probably someone just trying to beat the all HOV restrictions, but I called the cops to be sure. That kind of thing is smart).

All I am saying is that most of this stuff doesn't pass scrutiny.

And, I am highly skeptical that anyone, and I mean anyone, who actually knows something, or speaks with real U.S. sources that know something, is posting it out on the web.

Of course, if DC goes up in a nuclear cloud, a simply you were right probably won't be very fitting. And frankly, I will be evaporated in the hit, so you folks won't be able to gloat either.

Let's just hope I am right.

If nothing else, you guys keep me coming back. And that Sean Lomax guy, he is a must read.

I think they were crossing smallpox and camelpox...and who knows what else, as there were rumors about ebola. The potential danger of falcon vaccination passports from the UAE would be to set the bird up as a timed vector. It would take environmental factors or a simple injection of some sort (anti-inflammatories?) to trigger the immunesuppression and start the viral shedding. I think with this avian flu this is already occurring without assistance...just a matter of infection. If the avian flu continues killing humans at the 3 out of 4 rate, they don't need anything else until we get a human vaccine.

Cyanide, arsenal stirs domestic terror fear

Friday, January 30, 2004 Posted: 3:59 PM EST (2059 GMT)

Investigators want to know what William Krar and Judith Bruey planned to do with the arsenal they had assembled.

NOONDAY, Texas (AP) -- William Krar and Judith Bruey assembled a frightening arsenal in three rented storage units in this East Texas town, and federal authorities are trying to figure out why.

A raid in April found nearly two pounds of a cyanide compound and other chemicals that could create enough poisonous gas to kill everyone inside a space as large as a big-chain bookstore or a small-town civic center.

Authorities also discovered nearly half a million rounds of ammunition, more than 60 pipe bombs, machine guns, silencers and remote-controlled bombs disguised as briefcases, plus pamphlets on how to make chemical weapons, and anti-Semitic, anti-black and anti-government books.

The findings have led to one of the most extensive domestic-terrorism investigations since the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

Federal investigators believe conspirators may remain free, and one question lingers: What did the couple intend to do with the weapons?

"There's no other reason for anyone to possess that type of device other than to kill people," said Brit Featherston, a federal prosecutor and the government's anti-terrorism coordinator in Texas' eastern district. "The arsenal found in those searches had the capability of terrorizing a lot of people."

Thanks, much better said this time around.

Your opinion is heard, understood and appreciated, just as Mr. Lomax's is, Letitring's is, and everyone else's.

I have absolutely no problem with anyone "respectfully" disagreeing with any of the info posited on this board.

I also find that much of the material on this thread doesn't pass "scrutiny" and believe me, I research.

However, when much of the info doesn't pass "my" scrutiny, I then fall back on what I read is being done, as I type this, by our government in regards to many of the things that do not pass "my scrutiny", and I have to admit, it causes me to reserve judgement, keep an open mind, and to continue researching for facts and information.

For anyone to arbitrarily dismiss the information that the many posters have contributed to this thread, and then to personally insult (not you, someone else) the group, in light of what is published every day by very reliable sources regarding the preparations and precautions our government is taking, is naive in my opinion.

Look at this. SNIP

Jon David: We have all the IP addresses to the tune of 27 thousand visitors a day seeking Alneda.com (the calling) from every hostile country imaginable. But interestingly enough, 90% were from Saudi Arabia.

Don't know anything, at all, about that website, but found his comment, posted above, interesting.
