I would like you to speak to the wives and families of some of my close friends who perished on 9/11.

Tell them that "Al Queda" is nothing but a big joke.

If you attended the wakes and funerals that I did in the weeks following the attacks,

I have a feeling your attitude would change in a heartbeat.

I did attend several of those funerals. And, one of my closest friends narrowly escaped the Pentagon when hit. Of course , I did not know of her saftey when I watched the building burn.

I don't think AQ is joke. I think they are dead serious. Too serious to be playing patty-cake on the web.

Like I said, we need to stay vigilant and smart. Part of being smart is recognizing the silly from the serious.

I get paid to tear apart stories with even subtle flaws, and my job always demands that I ask more questions and dig for logical explanations.

Some of the stuff here is simply nutty. We can probably serve our intelligence and law enforcement officials better by keeping an eye and ear on the ground in the communities we know best, rather than trying to cobble internet postings from unknown sources into a conspiracy.

Iron and Contempt, good handles, btw they should realise even when the 5th comes or whatever date, we'll still be here. They best get use to the long haul, for the WOT is here to stay! No trilogy, always!
