Was it belly of an eagle? If so where did the falcon thing come in? I guess I was confused with someone talking about falcon logos and airlines...that was what I did yesterday...
Should we have thought about eagle logos? Like American? They are an eagle... I vaguely recall earlier in this thread people theorizing that the belly of an eagle thing could have to do with a plane, right? Or am I totally lost now?

If left out that, Eagle Pass, TX and Piedras Negras, Mexico are known as the twin cities - located on the Rio Grande.

Where would I look on my computer to check if I've been infected or infiltrated? In general you can't. Specific exploits will often leave specific traces - Molly may be able to describe what appear to be the obvious traces of whatever happened to her machine, but probably nobody else can unless they happen to recognize the specific exploit that affected her computer.
If you don't have a virus scanner, get one and have it do a full system scan. That won't find every possible malicious file but it will certainly get the most common ones.
Other than that about the only think you can do is to see if anything "unusual" seems to be happening to your system - this might indicate either viruses or hardware problems, or possibly misconfigured software.

Reps. Jim McDermott of Washington and David Bonior of Michigan, both Vietnam War-era veterans just returned from a trip to Baghdad and other Iraqi cities. While on their tour of Iraq, the congressmen pressed President Bush to give U.N. sanctions time to work before launching any military campaign. Mr.McDermotts position was that a U.N. sponsored disarmament could be accomplished diplomatically and that to oust Saddam which would require an unnecessary war.
The comments and show of support by the congressmen for the Iraqi president triggered outrage in America. McDermott told NBCs Today Show, "The President of the United States will lie to the American people in order to get us into this war." The congressman compounded this claim with, I think the president would mislead the American people, on ABCs This Week from Baghdad.
Analysis: My opinion about this trip to an enemy country on the cusp of a war with the USA? Disgusting!
I judge it as aid and comfort to the enemy. My reasoning is that responsible members of the Congress should not go to an enemys lair and attack a sitting President of United States. Free speech is one thing but to actually aid an enemy by denouncing your own president is another.

Was it belly of an eagle? If so where did the falcon thing come in? I guess I was confused with someone talking about falcon logos and airlines... That is a prominent theory. But there has also been a lot of talk about tunnels, power generating plants, trains, twin cities, and a myriad of other stuff out here. With the latest warning focusing on trains coming right before the 2/2 weekend, I thought I do some searching in that direction.

Thanks so much. I do have Norton Anti-virus, haven't noticed any problems with my system. (fingers crossed and knocking on wood)

More on your post. SNIP
In the wake of the trip by Congressmen David Bonior (D-MI), Jim McDermott (D-WA) and Mike Thompson (D-CA), NJDC Executive Director Ira N. Forman stated, This trip to Baghdad was ill-advised. No matter how one stands on the need for regime change, it is very difficult to visit Iraq while not being used by the regime of Saddam Hussein.
Mr. Forman added, It is also very problematic to treat Iraqi promises with any degree of legitimacy.
Bonier, McDermott, and Thompson. Iraqi payroll.

I am a bit confused about this article. The article states that the black boxes "showed one thing while the plane was doing something different". It also goes on to say that the cockpit and crew were "very alert".
Granted, I do not know a lot about aviation but it seems to me if the plane was doing something different than what the pilots were telling it to do that they would realize this and try to make corrections. If the corrections did not work and they could tell that the plane was doing "something different" wouldn't the pilots then be relaying this information back to air control somewhere???
Big mystery is right. I'm very surprised that the Egyptians are even releasing this information.

Bruce and others here have obviously got more knowledge on this issue than I have and it certainly wasn't a dumb question :)
I will leave this issue for the time being as I don't wish to flood the forum with this. - Please do take care when bouncing around some of THOSE sites.

Also, could very well be a plane. But -- there is also an Amtrak train called the "Texas Eagle" which stops in or near Houston.

You mentioned the falcon so I incorporated into my line of searching and there is a Falcon Dam in Laredo.

Strange you should post that, I was just wondering what was happening with the financial markets.
And, I don't see the massive confusion in the US Sean mentioned jihad post had predicted were going to occur within 24 hours. I think that deadline passed with not much happening. The virus attack, but that happens all the time, hardly what i would call massive confusion.

Thanks for your welcome, I guess I'm out of lurk mode for good. It was easier being a lurkee as I could read all the posts. Now I can't keep up with all the activity here LOL.
If you are running a good anti virus software make sure it is updated - regularly. If you are running windows, update with all the security patches you can.
Go to browser setting (tools -internet options) and click security. There are several boxes to tick or untick.
I have currently disabled all java, javascript, active scripts and active X. If you set them to prompt you will get a promt box come up every time you access a website. It will also stop the popups and a lot of those annoying adverts being displayed. I now only allow scripts to run on trusted websites. Most of the scripts are harmless but it is better to be safe.
There is some good information a few post up on this forum
which might be useful :)
If you are unsure please do a virus scan ASAP.
