I am a bit confused about this article. The article states that the black boxes "showed one thing while the plane was doing something different". It also goes on to say that the cockpit and crew were "very alert".
Granted, I do not know a lot about aviation but it seems to me if the plane was doing something different than what the pilots were telling it to do that they would realize this and try to make corrections. If the corrections did not work and they could tell that the plane was doing "something different" wouldn't the pilots then be relaying this information back to air control somewhere???
Big mystery is right. I'm very surprised that the Egyptians are even releasing this information.
