Interesting questions. I don't see any new information about this, but I'll keep searching.

FOX news just had an alert...gun battle in SA between Saudi agents and what appear to be AQ members. One captured, several wounded (sounds like on both sides)may be some casualities. More info. to follow.

Suspected Terrorists Resist Saudi Forces

Saudi Security Forces Exchange Fire With Suspected Terrorists After Getting a Tip

The Associated Press

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia Jan. 29 — Saudi security forces exchanged fire Thursday with suspected terrorists in a house in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, leaving one suspect in custody and several security agents killed, an Interior Ministry official said.

The official said the security forces had received a tip about the house in eastern Riyadh. When they arrived near the house, they came under fire, the official said on condition of anonymity.

A terrorist was captured and an unspecified number of security agents were killed, he said. The official did not elaborate.

Oak Ridge is about 60 miles east of Chattanooga and in-between is Sweetwater Nuke plant of some sort.

Yes, they are the visiter logs that we can check. They are pretty mundane and innocent.

I think it is possible that visitors to a site -- if they have pre-existing holes in their computer security -- can be attacked just by virtue that anyone lurking there with bad intentions can do some digging and spot them if they want to. That is the case with any Internet site. Hackers and crackers (I know the two groups hate to be lumped together!) are everywhere. But if Molly is saying that the site -- CNV2 -- itself is doing something malicious in a proactive way via programming and code, etc., well, I just cannot buy that entirely. I do not believe they employ java or require a download of any particular program or plug to lurk or post at the site.

Imagine opening an account and finding -'Payment credit card ---Thank you! CC PAYMENT - EOM.

IF this is the same EOM, the situation as described would have to mean that he was registered as a credit card merchant ... ie, that he could accept credit card payments. Although this does not usually require a great deal of creditworthiness or a need to post a financial bond (since you're not actually getting any of the bankcard processor's money), it does require a history of aboveboard financial dealings. Banks and other bankcard processors take a very dim view of fraudulent merchants!! If you're confident that this charge was fraudulent you should report it to your card issuer ASAP - if it's fraud you shouldn't owe anything on it, just a lot of hassle :-(

We are back in news on probation if things get too chatty and/or too much speculation etc. As long as we stay newsworthy we're safe ;)

The problems I saw from that board had to do with computers being used as a pop server.

I personally don't know a thing about Molly's situation.

As far as I am aware a script was placed on the CNV site which allowed access to my computer via Internet Explorer.
I am no expert but from my experiences of the site there are several messages which are tagged with code (Not the PGP in the EOM messages).
I first had a problem around the 11th of January - same date as money was taken.
Someone hacked the CNV site and replaced a graphic with an image of a static clock. (This has been covered in part 1 fo this forum) I had no problem until I clicked on the post link. I noted that some of the links and messages contained the same coded jargon as that produced by the doom virus. I could be wrong but it appears that the message was tagged with an active script, in some way, to the image set on the hacked page.

Of course the person or persons involved could have gained access prior to the message i'm concerned about being placed but I doubt it.

'mama told you not to steal' contained a warning which also included the words 'prepare for thy doom' there was also a threat of some interior decorating and that they hoped we would all have fun reformatting our hard drives. This was clearly directed at anyone using the site.

If you have found any files on your computer tagged with arabic or symbols of it's type - you have been hacked.
I discovered a host of nasties in my language settings for example.
