Specter, whose "conservatism" is about as cheap as generic vanilla extract, obviously is scared that Mr. Toomey, who represents the Lehigh Valley in Congress and is a bona fide conservative, is a real threat. Why else would Specter work overtime denying that he ever said Saddam Hussein should not face the death penalty? He said it to three different Pennsylvania newspapers.

Always remember that Arlen Specter was the lawyer for Ira Eichorn (sp?)who got him out on bail. He skipped the US and live in luxury in Sweden and France for 20 years. At least now, he is rotting in prison.

If he has two faces, why does he wear that one?

(With apologies to Abraham Lincoln.)

Time for Specter to go. And I hope that once he is out of power, someone puts his nads in a vice over JFK, Einhorn, impeachment, or any combination of the above and other matters.

Arlie Sphincter (LIBERAL-PA) is a true RINO, as is Mayor Bloomberg (LIBERAL-NY) and both have given the Republican Party a very bad name.

For Sphincter to masquerade as a "fiscal conservative" in his crappy ads, is sickening. I hear them everyday here in Pennsylvania. My finger can't switch the station fast enough.

Also always remember Spectre was a Democrat until he started to have political ambitions outside the city of Philadelphia.
