Al-Qaeda Ideologist Warns of "Unimaginable" Attack
Emergency Net ^ | Jan. 25, 2004 | ENN

MIDDLE EAST: Louis Attyiat-Allah, an self-proclaimed Al-Qaeda ideologist, has warned that a massive Al-Qaeda attack was pending and criticized Middle East television channel Al-Jazeera for not airing all of a recent speech by Usama bin Laden.

In the recent issue of the Al-Qaeda biweekly magazine "Sawt al-Jihad", Attyiat-Allah said a possible future attack on the same scale as 9-11 was coming. He described it as innovative and would come at a time completely unexpected.

Attyiat-Allah said western analysts would be unable to predict when the attack could occur, because it would be "unimaginable in the normal way."

"It will be bigger, in the sense that the loss from which America and the Western World will suffer, because it will be very big and immeasurable...due to its greatness, it will change the global power balance," he said.

Despite making these warnings, Attyiat-Allah did not say what his sources were. The comments have not been authenticated by U.S. or allied intelligence sources, though more than one analyst told EmergencyNet News that "the threat seems to be in keeping with previous Al-Qaeda doctrine." Many U.S. government intelligence analysts believe that "Sawt al-Jihad" and other alleged Al-Qaeda associated websites and mailing lists largely consist of "misdirection and misinformation."

Also in the magazine article, Attyiat-Allah said he was upset that television station Al-Jazeera did not air a recent interview by Usama bin Laden in its entirety.

“I felt angry at al-Jazeera channel for cutting the speech from over 40 minutes to 14 minutes only, because it is very clear that this is one of the most important speeches of the Sheikh," Attyiat-Allah complained.

"It is clear that this is a detailed, political speech, and that the Sheikh read it from a paper which was prepared beforehand... in my personal opinion, this speech, in its essence, is a speech [about the] future," he added.

Wrap the duct tape around the liberal punks fingers too.

Just a side question ... do you think the tensile strength of duct tape is great enough to rip testicles off a human?

What was his "Nick"?

I remember him showing up about the #2500 post in the Sniper thread. I spoke to him in freepmail, but probably deleted it.

I will try to find his handle, will be a painful but interesting task.

Your# 8.........correct!

AQ and their 'sponsers'.......(REALIY-FACT)......are dangerous.

"It will be bigger, in the sense that the loss from which America and the Western World will suffer, because it will be very big and immeasurable...due to its greatness, it will change the global power balance," he said.

This is their ongoing goal (dream).

[They too are going to have to have a 'reason' (rationalization) to invent their very own atomic 'Godzilla'.

/sarcasm

I was thinking the same thing, by cutting the tape, they may have cut the important messages to the troops in the field. Well, I guess Al Qaeda will just have to have Bin Laden make one of his famous videos with the clues in it. I'm sure it would be aired in full.

"The Department of Homeland Security has issued a bulletin warning that terrorists may attack American ships or ports using scuba divers."

Apparently the ragheads don't know that we have trained dolphins AND Navy SEALS.

Excerpt.....

This is what al-Qaeda, with its revamped leadership structure, is counting on. While the US Homeland Security Department argues about how many screening machines to install at airports, terrorists are planning how to convert supertankers carrying liquefied petroleum gas or other chemicals into floating bombs - or perhaps even dirty bombs with help from a rogue nation with nuclear knowhow.

Data compiled by Aegis Defence Services, a UK security consultancy, provides worrying evidence of this. In March, for example, pirates boarded a chemical tanker, the Dewi Madrim, near Sabah in the south Pacific for several hours. Their intention was not to ransom the crew or offload its cargo, as south-east Asia's pirates usually do, but simply to learn how to steer it at varying speeds. And in the past few months, 10 tugboats have been reported missing, each of which could be used for close-in manoeuvring of a disabled tanker, hijacked just before entering a big port (at Singapore, say) and just before being set ablaze.

Other dangers to maritime interests are also becoming apparent. In June, for example, an offshore maintenance engineer with deep-sea diving skills, who had been kidnapped in 2000, was released by Abu Sayyaf. He reported that his captors had wanted to learn how to dive, but were not interested in learning how to resurface.

No. I have never heard of him, he is not on the FBI's most wanted terrorists list, I couldn't even find it with Google (not even this article).

That's why I only posted this in "Extended News".

Thanks. Mansoor Ijaz mentioned the threat from the sea a number of times, when interviewed on FoxNews. I am glad he also wrote it down in an article.

Yes, Clark for burger flipper "Hey, ya want French Fries with that" in 04, 05 and the foreseeable future. Maybe he could work with you, american_punk. You could do the smartmouth bit on the drive thru speaker and he could do the delivery to the vee-hikkles.
