The President spoke this morning to the U.S. Conference of Mayors in a hotel in Washington, speaking with power about the War on Terror, and his No Child Left Behind Education bill. Later he welcomed the 2003 World Champion Florida Marlins to the East Room in the White House, and talked baseball with old friends, teasing manager Jack McKeon as being like Donald Rumsfeld, ‘crusty,‘ but who ‘knows what he‘s doing,’ and ‘Pudge’ Rodriguez, who was his star catcher when he was managing general partner of the Texas Rangers..
