When Bush Loses In November, He Will Have No One To Blame But Himself
By Chuck Baldwin
Food For Thought From The Chuck Wagon
January 23, 2004 Let me be the first one to say it: President Bush is on track to lose in November, and it won't matter who his Democratic opponent is. His fabrications, deceptions, and prevarications are just too much to stomach. His duplicity rivals anything in the previous administration, a Republican name plate notwithstanding.
It's hard to think of anything this president has done right. His policies are every bit as socialist (or fascist) as the most liberal Democrat. We have lost more freedoms during the last three years than we had lost during the previous thirty! Even though Bush has enjoyed Republican majorities in both houses of Congress, neither conservatives nor constitutionalists can point to a single victory Bush has given them. Not one!
Babies are still being aborted at an escalating rate. The Bush administration has done as much (or more) to promote the homosexual agenda as any Democrat. Bush has proliferated the growth of federal spending and corresponding federal deficits to levels not seen in decades. Furthermore, he has created the embryo of a giant Orwellian police state while at the same time offering amnesty and legitimacy to foreign criminals who have invaded our country. If all of that isn't bad enough, Bush even threw his support behind the Clinton gun ban!
Due to Bush's dismal record, the Democratic nominee (whoever he is) will have to work at losing this election. The facade of a "wartime" president is wearing thin. Moreover, gas and oil prices have skyrocketed since oilmen Bush and Cheney rode into Washington, D.C. In addition, without a willingness to cut spending, Bush's tax cuts are a fraud! And now Bush wants to spend an additional billion dollars annually (where this money is coming from nobody knows) to send men to Mars. Get real!
Beyond that, Bush has repeatedly stated that his war against Iraq was fought for the purpose of "enforcing the demands of the United Nations." Now, isn't that lovely? Does he really expect us to re-elect him President of these United States after hearing that he ordered more than 500 brave, patriotic Americans to die in Iraq on behalf of the UN? Does he think we are a bunch of morons? He must.
G.W. Bush deserves to be a one-term president. And the truth is, the nation won't be worse off with a Democratic replacement. At least with a Democrat in the White House, Republicans in Congress might decide to actually oppose liberal policies.
With a liberal Democrat in the White House, a president might get 40% of his agenda through Congress. Bush, on the other hand, will get 80% of his policies through Congress, and Bush's policies are every bit as bad as any liberal Democrat's. So, you tell me who is actually "the lesser of two evils."
(If you would like to track the ongoing Bush record, go to http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/bushrecord.html.)
Therefore, when Bush loses in November, he will have no one to blame but himself.

Neither have I. Anything to hide that is. Accept I'm a gun owner. How long before the portions of my
collection arsenal subject to any upcoming bans make me a criminal? How long before you are in the same boat?
I actually fear for FR's very existance in the lead up to the next election. Will we get nabbed in some Bravo Sierra lawsuite under the new McCain-Feingold Act?

intend to hold Bush accountable for the decline of affordable health care in America. I feel that he is in favor of pharmacuetical companies instead of the people. And I think Bush is acting foolishly paying no attention to all of the jobs leaving America, and believing that we will be satistied with some kind of jobs program, when all of the jobs are leaving anyhow. Get Real, Bush, before it is too late. Then vote for a democrat. You sure as heck are no Republican much less a conservative.

Maybe they aren't wanting to disclose they have a candidate by the name of "Clymer" running for VP.....
Yes, I saw that the other day. Can`t say that excited me to much. I admire those who are trying to change our over bloated government into a more conservative , controlled government. But there is a right way and a wrong way. This guy is definitely doing it the wrong way.

Teddy.... I posted the following on another thread but I think it can fit into Chuckie's rant...
Let me see if I understand all this
.
- the democrat dwarfs have been in nonstop campaign mode for months bashing the President on everything they can find
- The media has been following them and reporting their events, hosting their debates, prime time interviews, daily sound bites, etc.
- The pollsters are running almost daily polls about them, who is leading, who is rising, who is falling
- One caucus has been held with the results throwing everything upside down
- President Bush issues a Guest Worker proposal and the entire base has suddenly headed for the hills
- Some conservative pundits/media/organizations have issued scathing assessments of his proposal(s) [witness Chuckies here]
All the above and much more has happened over the past few months. Yet we find the following at this juncture:
- President Bushs approval ratings are somewhere around 50% or better
- The economy seems to be turning around
- The Bush/Cheney campaign hasnt held any campaign events, appearances with other candidates, media buys, rallies, etc.
- The Bush/Cheney campaign has something over $100+ million in their war chest at this time and rising
- President Bush has no strong primary opponent
Now Im to believe that the President is in a dire political position, will lose his Republican base, likely be defeated, etc. etc. etc. And hes not even begun the campaign. I suspect that the Presidents campaign will begin after it becomes evident who the Democrat opponent will be and then youll see the release of the $100+ millions to promote the President and contrast his positions/policies against his opponents.
I suggest that in July after his campaign has been up and running and if the President is in political problems regarding his re-election then there will be something to worry about
.. Until then I see nothing but the yelling of fire from the ones opposed to him. They dont intend to vote for him and most likely didnt vote for him in 2000. The first salvo of the Presidents campaign has yet to be fired
. After it's fired I'd like to see what Chuckie has to say then....
GO BUSH GO

RLC members for candidates are about all I got left. What to do, what to do?
Scrounging for a candidate is not something I can empathize with. Sorry.

The democrats are going to pull out the stops to mobilize their voters like you've never seen. They're not going to be the sit-at-home, unmotivated individuals you saw in 2000.
Now be careful..... You are stealing Teddy's lines with above statement... It's his favorite past time to tell how the democrats are going to wipe the floor with Republicans....
PS.... ask him about the Dream Team in Texas......

Baldwin does have company though; Saddam and Al-Qaeda celebrated the deaths of 3,000 decent, hardworking, sons, daughters, husbands, and wives (read: Americans) on 9/11.
No wonder the CP is against the WOT.

And we're probably seeing all that Soros' money can buy right here on the 'UberConservative' threads of FR Its true
for different reasons. Ive got family in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, and California. Im in CA. It doesnt matter what I do he aint winning CA and everybody knows it.
The problem is in the SE. My mom voted for him last time and claims she wont again. Several aunts and uncles and cousins also voted for him last time and wont again (or so they say).
The majority of the family were traditionally union-represented southern democrats. They have absolutely no problem voting for a democrat. They werent happy with Gore/Lieberman last time and sat it out in a lot of cases. They wont be sitting the next one out.
Meanwhile, there are past GWB supporters that *will* be sitting it out. That isnt good. Not good at all. But people dont like to hear bad news. I dont either. Meanwhile, its headed down the pike.

I'm a gun owner too. It's also quite extensive. I don't see anything in the Patriot Act that takes that away from me.
Second Amendment fights are a seperate issue and they will be an ongoing thing regardless.
One fight at a time. And be involved in it. You notice that I stated in my initial post that when I have a problem with the people who are supposed to represent me I don't sit on my hands.

LOL. I have never seen a more pitiful bunch of stalking horses in my life.
To: Theodore R.
There are so many factual errors in this article that I don't know where to start criticizing it.
Let's just say that Bush will WIN in November...and most Americans see through these lame attempts to paint him as this lying evil President.
In fact, Bush gets extremely high marks for his trustworthiness.
The author of this article needs to try a more effective line of attack.

Yes, it's true, Baldwin is part of the enemy within
Well, like I said I have issues with President Bush. I see some very dangerous things he is trying to do. But I can also see the good things he has done. I am not in his camp, that is just the way it is. But this Baldwin guy is definitely out on a fringe that I am not.

Such a pile of hateful, ranting, steamy dog poop...I ain't gonna bother reading...I can smell it from here and that's enough for me.
It's 'purists' like him that'll get a Dem elected...then he'll really have something to bellyache about, but, that's actually what he desires because it feeds his need to feel superior.
It's like saying, if the glass is only half full, then let's break it so no one can have a drink.
Disgusting, just plain disgusting.

Baldwin thinks he's doing God's business... "Pastor" Chuck hasn't mentioned God in one of his columns in two months.
He's an empty vessel of Divine Grace.
There is no God in this man.
