[history]
Susan Ford finally staged a jailbreak. Like Mandy Moore's character in the recent movie "Chasing Liberty," Ford found that life as a teenager in the White House could be stifling.
"I kept thinking 'I want to be normal. But I can't be normal,' " says Ford, now Susan Ford Bales and the mother of two daughters. "Everyone was watching. It was like living out loud."

Chelsea Clinton is generally awarded the trophy for having the toughest time as a first daughterWell, that's only because her (alleged) father was a serial rapist and her mother is the spawn of Satan, it isn't like either of these 2 facts are her fault. You don't get to choose your parents, you can only choose when to go on your merry little way. LOL

Please excuse my ignorance, but who is Ford Bales?

America owes Amy Carter a debt of gratitude for refusing to talk to the press. We'd have to see her picture and listen to her drivel.
Too bad her dad won't follow her example.

I personally know a Governor who climbed out of the window during a visit to another city and enjoyed her freedom for a few hours.

Amy Carter doll? That had to be a hot seller in the 70s. Although, I had a Lynda Carter doll myself.

But, as a typical 13-year-old, when she turned on "Saturday Night Live," she didn't expect to hear the cast making fun of her looks. Myers not only sent a note of apology after a protest from the White House, but also the comments were cut out of the tape for replays The part about Chelsea isn't even on the web, but I think I have it on tape. The comment wasn't that bad.

Quick question, I remember reading somewhere that (in general, not always) children of the president usually go on to have some very sad and wretched lives.
Your take?
