I agree with you, I just couldn't resist because I saw it coming (and was tempted to say something along the same lines you did).
I've seen some things said in this thread, that I could imagine the person saying them is screaming, ranting, spitting and hitting their monitor and just working themselves into a frenzy over the fact that there are people who disagree with them or vote differently than them.
To: My2Cents
You will of course forgive me if I'm not swayed by the extra large font and the supposed score.

How dense are you people?
I don't know, I was just responding to your statement found here
Voting third party at a time of war, both at home and abroad, when the only real choices are a moderately conservative (or conservatively moderate) incumbent, and the incarnation of evil in our society, is lunacy.
with a quote from George Washington and what parties would, and have, done to this nation of states. Did I get a response? Of course not!! I was called 'dense'.
And I cant really see how statements from his speech show beyond doubt that his principles are conservative. I don't see how the latest handout announced, no downpayments of FHA loans and more money to community colleges, are necessarily conservative. Rather it's something I would have expected from LBJ or Jimmy Carter

I believe President Bush is the man for this time in history.YES !!!!!! Can any honest person imagine 9-11 and the aftermath with a President Gore and tell me there is no difference?
Those who insist that it has to be the whole loaf or no loaf at all are destined to be hungry and refuse to live in a world of reality.

When the next Hillary type is in charge, it will be crystal clear to all.I agree with you on this, and we can never take the sunset clause out of it. Ashcroft is taking the heat for nothing right now, but if Clinton had this law during the impeachment, he would have used it against his enemies, with full force, and the ACLU would be suddenly missing.

A third way ??
OH NO, that's a completely different discussion, let's not go there !! :-)

My dear, there are many voices and opinions on who is a rino, what a rino is. The arguments are as endless and as fruitless as who is a conservative, what is conservatism, what is a true conservative, etc. Why bother when the conversation will not change any opinions.

As I said, fine, if that's what your conscience truly dictates.
But be fully aware of what you are risking by doing so.
The future of America in the hands of the Democrats is, IMO, a fearful thing, because they hate the very values we stand for.
I don't like the spending either, but to me, the cost of a Dem in office is far greater than the money spent. It's the very SOUL of this nation that will be lost.

That is why I am looking for a third option. (snicker) I thought about that...but its a moot point. Bush will win by a landslide come November. Its a useless presidential vote in my democratic controlled political-hell-hole state of Illinois anyway. Even dead people vote democrat here.
