Well, the socialist have succeeded in making people believe that freedom and knowledge are bad things. Freedom to spend money as one pleases and the knowledge of those operating black markets within our own borders. Can you imagine not supporting a program that effectively undermines corruption??? It is a shade of liberalism that cuts right through the core of America.

Your opinion is irrelevant.
A namecalling useful idiot who says I'm dishonest while lying about what they said, and later backing off couldn't be less relevant.

It has now been proven that you are wrong, yet here you are again, saying it's a lie.
But what would anybody expect from a man who is voting for a man who doesn't want his vote:
And while he appeared to relish in the thought of a presidential bid, when addressing the crowd later in the evening, Tancredo told the group that his support for President Bush runs much deeper than the immigration issue.
To: Mo1
Nice extrapolation but uhm no, I'm not holding him accountable for the first rapists EO's.
My point was that some of the EO's clinton signed people thought would never stand. And now low and behold just recently it was ruled that an incoming administration cannot recind at least one of the EO's that the rapist had written.

Its not even the fact that he has an "R". The leadership he demonstrated on 9/11, the tax cuts, the exclusion of France on Iraq contracts, and establishing a new realtionship with Europe...Eastern Europe, to name a few. Does he have his bad points? We all do. But IMHO, its best not change CinCs in the middle of the game. IMHO, hes simply the best candidate to keep my family safe. Can you imagine Howard Dean trying to presidential on 9/11? Theres another reason why I will support W in 2004; the restoration of dignity to the White House. But my favorite Bush action? Flying to Iraq for Tsgiving. I dont care if the naysayers say it was to upstage Hillary (it wasnt) or that it was more Rovian tactics(it wasnt), it was a real desire to be with the troops HE SENT THERE on a holiday. I believe that demonstrated class. Im fairly positive no one else would have gone..These are of course, just my opinions..

Do land grabs have to go through congress too? Congress authorized the President to set aside certain lands as federal land (he gets to designate those lands), and to issue regulations about those lands.

Because a senators aide was reported to have said that very thing when a freeper called them recently.Which Senator and which Freeper reported it? That info might help to clarify matters. I just don't believe it, considering he specifically asked Congress in the speech to assist him in developing a plan.
To: sinkspur
No actually he couldn't, but I have no reason to doubt him on this issue.

No actually he couldn't, but I have no reason to doubt him on this issue. Ask him to cite for you where the President can change immigration law through an EO.

because even in that case, one could still make the argument: Bush is better than Dean, Kerry, etc.
You get no argument from me about this. On his bad days , he is better than any of the dwarves or Hillary! on a good day.As for the third party types. well, again, they might want to visit the Pat Buchanan Presidential Library for solace.

I never said that. It's pitiful that you have to resort to making things up because you can't refute what I did say. You did not say this in post #528 in response to the 91% figure being cited?
You posted this, it's a fairy tale. You cite an article by a Bush apologist who cites only two issues, both slam dunks for conservatives and Republicans. Never mind the other four or five issues which, if asked by an honest pollster, might show a different result. You fell for it because it told you what YOU WANTED TO HEAR. It's pathetic.
If not, you better investigate, because someone else is using your screen name. If so, YOU are being dishonest.

I finally was able to reach someone I know at my senator's office.. he told me that BUSH INTENDS TO PUT THE IMMIGRATION FIASCO THROUGH AS AN EXECUTIVE ORDER!!!
A name please?
