Its not even the fact that he has an "R". The leadership he demonstrated on 9/11, the tax cuts, the exclusion of France on Iraq contracts, and establishing a new realtionship with Europe...Eastern Europe, to name a few. Can you imagine Howard Dean trying to presidential on 9/11? Theres another reason why I will support W in 2004; the restoration of dignity to the White House. But my favorite Bush action? Flying to Iraq for Tsgiving. I dont care if the naysayers say it was to upstage Hillary (it wasnt) or that it was more Rovian tactics(it wasnt), it was a real desire to be with the troops HE SENT THERE on a holiday. I believe that demonstrated class. Im fairly positive no one else would have gone..These are of course, just my opinions..

Congress authorized the President to set aside certain lands as federal land (he gets to designate those lands), and to issue regulations about those lands.

Which Senator and which Freeper reported it? That info might help to clarify matters. I just don't believe it, considering he specifically asked Congress in the speech to assist him in developing a plan.
