You need to re-read before you post. I never addressed the popularity polls. I reject the claim that 91% of Republicans support his policies as a BLANKET STATEMENT. It's a fairy tale until someone can prove it, and so far, no one has come close.

Hello in there? Try actually thinking before you post.

His post was very clear that 91% approved of Bush.

Unless you were engaging in a pathetic bit of sophistry, what do you think the approval ratings are for? It is a blanket question for a measure of support - do you approve (sanction, endorse, accept, support) of the job he is doing? That includes his policies. That article even broke down some of the policies individually - ranging from 60's to the high 80's on individual issues. But 91% supported him OVERALL.

Guess what - it doesn't mean that 91% agree with ALL of his policies. That sort of thing only exists in the dim recesses of your mind.

So because he didn't say exactly what you wanted him to say .. you're gonna blame him for that?

Ok

Looks like he could use a better chair; there's a web site somewhere that gives one away every once in a while

(in my best Schwarzenegger impression): That's a good one.

"Bingo. Slime your way into the (Anti)Constitution Party web site and you'll see the talking points for the anti-Bush rhetoric - most of which have been successfully regurgitated here."

And all 13 of them are here regurgetating their talking points from the (anti)Constitution Party.

I'm a critic of Dubya's spending habits too. Xlinton would've done the same thing in his 3rd term (if able).

Yes, but would everyone on this thread have been as understanding of Clintoon's spending as they are of Bush's spending? I think not.

The military and the WOT are currently the only bright spots for me.

Yeah, and they're the BIG ones for me, with my very young son in Baghdad, fighting for our freedom to disagree........

He's got a GREAT CinC, and we can't risk losing him.....

Take it easy, Biker. I've been on this thread WAY too long.

Jim Robinson did exactly that in 2000. He banished a large number of Brigadiers for advocating just what you propose.

He actually banned only about three that anyone can recall. They got banned for being too aggressive and provocative, not for supporting a non-Bush.

The rest of us stuck around. And nearly all of us voted for Bush in the end. FR's Brigade only ever produced about a half-dozen votes for Buchanan.

Trust me, I know this matter better than you do.

Sorry, H2BMe, I didn't mean to sound derogatory toward you. I thought it was necessary to point out that anyone who expects any elected official to support 100% of their individual agenda is setting themselves up for disappointment, over and over again.

My best to you, and keep up with your posts!

If he, for example, would drop the amnesty...

Perhaps you haven't been keeping up. He is NOT proposing an amnesty. Please don't spread misinformation about his proposals. It's too easy to confuse the dimwits.

Regarding his "spending": It's DOMESTIC spending which goes right back into our own economy and keeps people employed and keeps the money circulating. That's a good thing.

Well since "Goodwin" says so (and we know he represents all truth), and it's mysteriously called a "law," as if it is on a par with the Law of Contradiction, what is one to say except, "Whoa dude".
