Oh, and no packages yet. The night flying is going very well, it just kind of complicates everything here a little, about half the company on night shift, some just going to bed when I get up.

More from the president's "casual dinner"...
PHOENIX - A day after making a surprise anti-steroids appeal, President Bush (news - web sites) organized a casual dinner out at a Mexican restaurant with several baseball executives.
Bush was in town as part of a three-state swing to promote themes from his State of the Union address Tuesday night. In his public remarks in Ohio and Arizona on Wednesday, he didn't repeat his call for pro sports leagues to implement stringent policies against performance-enhancing drugs and for athletes to be good role models on anti-doping.
But he chose to end his day at the Teepee Mexican restaurant, located in a Phoenix neighborhood replete with strip malls and car dealerships. Bush dined with Arizona Diamondbacks (news) owner Jerry Colangelo, manager Bob Brenly, general manager Joe Garagiola Jr., and Anaheim Angels (news) owner Arte Moreno.
Bush, himself a former managing partner of the Texas Rangers (news), showed up for the brief, early dinner without the suit and tie he had worn all day and in a casual open-collared blue shirt. From his table, he chatted with the restaurant owner and a few patrons, and could be heard telling a gaggle of onlookers: "Go buy some nachos."

That's what my husband said, too, but I'm not. After two days with my 18-month old niece, I'm SURE I'm too old for a baby. (Tho I have to confess when I see a really tiny one I remember those precious times, but who doesn't, right?)

Joan Rivers is a very classy lady in person, and she does not put on "airs". I met her a few years back while they were taping the John Davidson "Hollywood Squares",taped at the Diplomat in Hollywood Fla. A big cockatiel being used for a question about birds pooped on her shoulder, and probably ruined her expensive outfit, but she was very nice about it even though it really grossed her out. The others on the panels were snobby, petty, and snooty especially Jane and Audrey Meadows. I believe she is a registered pubbie.

My hair started turning white in my 30's. That was fine for years, because it looked streaked. By my mid-40's, it was totally white. I tried low lights and other forms of coloring, but my hair is fine, and the coloring coarsens it. The low lights made it look like I had some strange form of hair weave, and the other coloring made it break off so I had a strange looking hairdo.
I don't try coloring any more. Before you do, I'd suggest asking your hairdresser if your hair is sturdy enough to handle harsh treatments.
I have friends who have great looking coloring, but it took me 2-3 years to recover from my misbegotten attempts.

The weather is slowly starting to heat back up, was near 80 yesterday, and should be nice again today. Can't wait for the mud to dry up, then the dust takes over and you can keep nothing clean.

You're so right admiral, about teaching your own children to read. We homeschooled, but even if we had not I was still going to teach my children to read. No way would I leave anything that important to a stranger who might or might not care about my child.

. . . am watching my tape of the SOTU speech -- just watched the section of the speech dedicated to the Patriot Act. As the congressman behind Tom DeLay 'whispered' (captured on tape) -- "Boy, did he set them up for that one!" I JUST LOVE THIS PRESIDENT!!
Night all!

Wow, were you THERE?!?!?! Looks like you'd have had to sit right on his lap to find a place at that table! :-)
I've never seen him in a plaid shirt before, but I LIKE IT!

You need a back-up plan, a small home generator that will kick in in the event of a sudden power loss!
