KERRY TAKES 10-PT LEAD IN N.H.
Boston Herald ^
Posted on 01/21/2004 3:24:46 PM PST by constitution_party_voter
The Massachusetts senator leads Dean 31 percent to 21 percent, with a slipping Wesley K. Clark at 16 percent after skipping the Iowa caucuses.
Sen. John Edwards is in fourth place with 11 percent, followed by Sen. Joseph Lieberman with 4 percent. Rev. Al Sharpton and Rep. Dennis Kucinich continue to barely register.
Herald pollster R. Kelly Myers called it a ``dramatic turn-around for John Kerry.''
``His once fledgling campaign has found new legs and he now finds himself the clear front-runner in this race,'' Myers said.
The poll, of 501 likely Democratic primary voters, was taken by RKM Research and Communication Tuesday and yesterday in the immediate aftermath of Kerry's surprise Iowa caucus victory. The poll's margin of error is plus or minus 4.4 percent.
The Herald poll is the first two-day sampling since Iowa's vote.

Oh, those heady days of support from Jeanne Garafolo and Rob Reiner!
He thought those days would never end.

I told a group of people in October Kerry will be the nomination. I was laughed out of the group. I still stand by my words. Clark will be his VP.

What a joke this primary/caucus system is (whichever of the one political party we have in this country.) One pipsqueak state decides for all those "independent thinkers" in the entire country. Just follow the Iowa sheep!

Hugh Hewitt on his radio show just gave a serious response for Howard Dean during tommorrow's debate. It was very good and I think it could mitigate the damage Dean did to himself.

Clark will be his VP. Hmmm...could be, but Clark is insane, and will only cause Ketchup Boy trouble.

Edwards will climb even more.
I wouldn't be surprised if Edwards came in 2nd (behind Kerry or Clark).

Dean is insane. Period. Everyone see's it finally and his warchest is going to be spent up by Michigan. The debate on FOX tomorrow night is going to be a good one. I am gonna have to buy extra popcorn.

The only reason I am saying Kerry/Clark is because of the whole having a military president in office and vice president. They know that is Bush's strong point "the war" where the Dem's all appear to the American public as kumbya freaks.

I agree that Kerry will get the nomination, but I'm betting that Edwards will be his VP. That' is all that Edwards is really running for.
