Where did you derive all of that from my post? This is one among a series of articles written about this man's CYA campaign. I'm laughing because this is about the fifth one I've read (not on Clive's list but from other sources) and it gets more ridiculous every time.

Perhaps you might want to read back into the history of this prosecution.

It is based on recordings in which much of what is said is illegible, large gaps occur, tape has been edited and at some places the time stamp is out of the sequence attempted to be portrayed by the prosecutor.

Ben Menashe was ostensibly in the act of being retained by Tsvangirai but was actually already on retainer to Mugabe's government as agent provacateur.

This trial is trumped up out of whole cloth.

None of the so-called "evidence" for the prosecution would pass the laughter test in a real court anywhere else in the Common Law.

I am fully willing to admit, upon seeing your adequate explanation, that I am short a few million brain cells. But you haven't answered the question at heart.

Why are you laughing at a persecuted man's dire plight?
Is it somehow fitting, somehow justified, that Tsvangirai deserves to be scared for his life at the hand of the same despot who is aiming to kill off half the country's population?
