This is somewhat of a vanity post, but I do have links to the Showtime's schedule. Check out what Showtime was showing during the President's State of the Union Address. You guessed it. It was The Reagans. My father pointed it out to me, and told me he's going to drop his subscription to Showtime. I think we need to organize a boycott of Showtime.

I've been boycotting Showtime for 20 years.

What is showtime? It's a cable premium movie channel. They show pregramming that even HBO won't touch. Just follow the link to their site.

Same here. I'd have to sign up to boycott them. I think they're partially owned by CBS. CBS let them show the movie after Moonves decided not to show it on CBS's over the air network.

I just keep all my cable channels, and flip through the trash. Actually, the "ABC Family Channel"..(no, not regular ABC, their FAMILY channel) aired this Jennifer Aniston vehicle, "The Object of my Affection" during daytime hours, last weekend. Here's the plot:
Nina is the stepsister of the wife of a successful literary agent. While at a dinner party hosted by the former, she inadvertently informs an acquaintance, George, that his lover, Robert, is dumping him. After the inevitable confrontation, George takes up Nina's invitation to stay at her place until things cool down. George initially serves a purpose by helping to keep Nina's overbearing boyfriend, Vince, at a distance. What Nina and George don't count on is falling into a type of love. Things are rosy until Nina tells George she is pregnant with Vince's baby. Unable to tell the father, she asks George to stay on to raise the child in place of the real father, Vince.
This is what ABC thinks of family values. Just an FYI for those out there with youngsters, who think a "family channel" is automatically appropriate viewing for your children.

Wow. Luckily are kidlets are all growed up and moved out of the office. But once the grand-kiddies start popping out and we are aksed to babysit we will lockout that channel. As a matter of fact, I'm going to do it right now in case I forget. First grandkid is due in August and I might forget by then. Thanks for the heads up.

Read post #7. You can still boycott CBS.Actually, if that were the substance of the boycott, then all of Viacom's networks and properties would need to be boycotted.
The Super Bowl is a week from Sunday.
At 6PM.
On CBS.
Just damn.
