I thought tha the Dems were opposed to spending more on Homeland Security, but Nancy wants to check every container coming in. The cost would be staggering, but the Longshoremen would probably be happy to hear it.
I'd love for womeone to ask her how much it would cost to open every container that comes into the country. I'll bet that she doesn;t even have a clue, let alone an estimate.

Teddy (hic) Kennedy on C-SPAN: like "throwing a ten foot rope to someone drowning at 13 feet."
Freudian slip?
I guess! Couldn't believe my ears.

I thought it was pronounced "Joanie Loves Chachi" Joanie L. Chachi is Adnan "Pa" Chachi's daughter :)

Yeah, Beavis came to mind when I saw Chris Kemp's mugshot LOL
To: RandallFlagg
Dean last night was the one looking like Beavis.

You are an American so hire a fellow American. Even if less qualified? But I have a fiduciary duty to the company to hire the best talent that will do the best job.
To: Peach
Thanks, I agree with Breaux but I wish he, along with everybody else, had come to that conclusion after Dean won the nomination.
To: OldFriend; Peach
That makes 3 of us not freeping but soaking up every word and expression. I was hoping for lightning to strike the left siders. 'Hope they go home tonight and weep. They KNOW that George W. Bush is a great President who has achieved more than anyone...including Republicans...could ever have imagined, but they'll never, never, never acknowledge it. A plague on them all (except Zell Miller).

The cameraman isn't showing them NOT standing up and applauding. I'm just now catching up...but on NBC they DID show each time who was and wasn't standing and clapping. And that's what a LOT of America watches...those idiots didn't clap for tax breaks, for health care for the elderly...more, I don't remember right now, but yeah, it was shown!!

It would be a shame if his liver failed soon."
Those photos of his face show possible liver damage. Any doctors here that could confirm this?

Stay away from any TV card product made by Pinnacle. They suck. The ATI All-in-Wonder is a TV tuner integrated with a video card. If you have a decent video card already, you can just get their TV card for well under $100. Should not be a problem on an old machine, but you will probably have trouble capturing video without dropping frames. Single frame captures should work OK. Live TV on the computer screen is great!!
It would depend on your pc. If you have generic, ATI could work. I tried it but it wouldn't work with my Micro motherboard with built-in 'video card'. I tried another, Kingworld pcTV, and it worked after I did a clean Windows install. My Kingworld pcTV card was $45.00 from Tigerdirect.com.
I use SnagIt to capture tv pix and send them directly to my ISP website for FR link posting.

Fred's comments were particularly barbed. I know his wife has MS or another very debilitating disease, rendering her completely helpless .. Mort Kohdraki is the one whose wife with MS....I was also surprised by Fred's criticism....He must have been listening to a different speech.

America DON'T NEED PERMISSION SLIP to defend itself..Even some here at FR thought we were asking permission.
Now it's a year later and these posters have been proven wrong.
To: JulieRNR21
I thought it was Parkinson's Disease that Mort's wife has - I could be wrong, though.
To: nuffsenuff
Yes, I was surprised that Breaux said that!!!

What a fantastic ad. Just switched back over to see that ad and was floored. Homerun. It is so great to see the idiocy of the left being openly revealed.
