I want you to repeat what you said Susan Estrich told Alan Colmes on his radio show. And was that show live, or recorded earlier?

I'm shocked. I want to read it again, and I want you to swear you are certain you heard it precisely. And what did Alan Colmes say in response?

thanks mucho

Those listings by company and then industry are still individual contributions aren't they? Or from a company PAC?

Companies can't give that much single money to any one candidate. Which is why I don't see how idiots in the press can say, "Bush gets millions from special interest and his fat cat contributors and business friends" which is totally false.

That can be said about any candidate. Bush's average contribution is $281 so far.

LOL. Estrogen must have got that from Leheinous.

She probably got it from her former boss Mikey Dukaka. I've almost gotta give Susan credit -- sometimes she almost shows a little intellectual honesty.

It's the same station I get Rush on during the day - don't know the name just the # 580.

I've never listened to Alan (didn't even know he was on in my area) but couldn't take the tv anymore and switched the radio on in here.

Just a lame joke on my part, capitalizing on Kerry's cavader-like appearance. Appearently Susan Estridge said on Alan Combs' radio show that Kerry is rumoured to have had affairs - Kerry is on Nightline this moment - and I joked that the woman involved would have to be a necrophiliac.

I think you are overestimating Kerry a bit. He's on record supporting massive reductions in defense spending during and leading up to 9/11/01. He opposed intervention when Iraq invaded Kuwait. These are not isolated instances. Yet he favored Clinton attacking Iraq. In other words his interests and loyalties are to his party first and his country second.

I could wrap that around him without even doing the opposition research. Kerry will sell well in the Northeast, though not New Hampshire, the coasts and the rust belt. Nobody in the south will be buying what he's selling which includes gun registration, homosexual unions, partial birth abortion and a Cadillac in every driveway to take you to the government paid Doctor of your wants.

I was hoping for Dean because I think Bush could beat him be enough to get a mandate for judges but no matter who else he gets the dems will get about half the votes and the republicans will get about half the votes.

The Super Bowl will be as good an indication of the Kerry/Edwards race

Dean must have had his medication or a tongue lashing from his staff. He was much calmer with Ted and had forced smile at the end.

Kerry said this over the weekend, and it was caught on videotape:

Senator John F. Kerry of Massachusetts, a Democratic presidential candidate, told an audience of 150 at a campaign stop in Guttenberg, Iowa, "Here we are on a weekend before a national holiday when we celebrate Martin Luther King's birthday, and George W. Bush celebrates it by apponting Charles Pickering -- a known forceful advocate for a cross-burner in America -- to the federal court in the United States."

I don't see how Kerry can win after having said that, if Karl Rove has any sense. Replay that video soundbite, follow with a brief recounting of the actual facts of that case and Pickering's work for civil rights, a "read more about this case at (something like) www.bush2004.com", and ask if someone who's willing to slander as a racist a man who risked his life for civil rights is who you want leading our nation? (As a lawyer Pickering defended civil rights activists in Mississippi in the 60's)

Everyone talks about how Dean is changing politics with the internet, but there is a great opportunity to change it far more by a campaign creating a fact-check archive of extensive sourcing, if marketed strongly.

But Kerry is so negative that I think Edwards now has the best chance(especially if he's made a back deal with the Clintons, for when W. Clark falters.)

I don't know who she supports, but she thinks Edwards is the real deal and has a future in politics beyond where he is now.

Says Kerry doesn't connect with real people (and she calls him her friend!?) but that Edwards does connect.

Will do. I need to re-start my Kerry file - deleted it a month ago when it appeared he was tanking in the polls.

Don't know if her husband works for Kerry or is campaigning for Kerry.

Wow -- Crissy Mathews said that Lehane, who used to work for Kerry, is asking that Kerry's tax returns be released. This should get quite interesting, especially when Dean gets wind of this.
